Cons: the atheros nic doesn't have linux support. chipset drivers are available, but I dont have time to recompile drivers every time I install a new linux.

Pros: Board is well laid out for placing components. The pricepoint was at the high point of my budget, but it is better to go with a good brand than a bargin every time.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: This is my 12th or 15th computer build, I needed a 2nd computer to stay on 24/7. I use it as a PVR/DVR. I wanted something cheap, but still having quality, so I went with know brand names such as gigabyte.

Pros: Paired with a Wolfdale Pentium Dual Core 2.8 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB.
Absolutely as good of a motherboard as you can ask for in this price range. Excellent overclocking tools. Easy-to-use.
Frankly, far more board than you would expect for $50.
Cons: A few more SATA ports would always be nice, but it is a cheap board.
