Pros: This is my 4th mobo from Giga, and the 2nd of this model.
Love the layout and room to access and install components.
Running stock speeds on a C2Q 6600 on one with PC2-8500 1066 dual dimms, and OC'd the other running a C2D 6600 with 4G PC2-6400 800 dual dimms.
No problems so far.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Had been an Asus only until over 2 years ago when I first tried a Giga board and have not gone back.

GA-EP45-UD3R nightmare

Pros: Newegg is the best . Super fast shipping . I usually get what i order the next day using their regular shipping.

Cons: vga radeon hd4850 cpu intel q8200 2.33 OS WinXP memory ddr2 corsair 1066 PS.corsair hx520w
Never could get this combo to go to bios working on the MB since 9-24-09 it is now 11-24-09

Other Thoughts: Do not turn in your rebate until you know the motherboard works. I did send my rebate in as soon as I got the parts. Come to find out the motherboard was bad. So I had to send the Motherboard to the manufacture. It takes 2-3 business WEEKS for gigabyte to send you a newly refurbished board((not new). My newly refurbished board was bad too. Now I have to wait another 2-3 WEEKS for gigabyte to send me another refurbished motherboard. Don't know if quality control is down at the factorys in china but it sure feels like it.

Memory problems

Pros: Nice features. I have an older version (GA-EP35C-DS3R) that has been awesome, but this one has memory issues.

Cons: I have 4 1g sticks of known good memory. They work in my other mother board, and work in this board if I install no more than 2 at a time. With 3g or 4g installed, the boot process halts before post, often times giving me a bogus amount of memory installed (once over 15g).

Other Thoughts: I am so happy with my older board that I will exchange this one for a new one and hope for the best. I am concerned that several of the 1 star ratings are due to memory problems. This may be a major weakness of this board.
