5 out of 5 eggsRunning Strong since 2009

Pros: Cheap!

Cons: Sometimes requires a serial keyboard

Other Thoughts: Great Motherboard, I've had this since 2009 and since been running Steam Games, WOW, Diablo, and now LOL constantly every night and not a problem. Survived 2 OS upgrades, numerous brown outs and black outs and 4 moves. Only down side was once when the computer crashed bc i ran it too HOT it required a serial keyboard to press through the start up prompts, but if you wait the 25sec it automatically starts the computer anyways but its not enough to take a egg off for.

5 out of 5 eggs2.5 years and running strong!

Pros: Very solid board. 2.5 years running 24/7 (20,000+ hrs) without a single problem.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great price ($80), and for it's time, it had all the features I needed and more. Ran my old AM2 Athlon 64 X2 6400+ flawlessly for the first 6 months, then an AM3 Phenom II X4 965 BE for the last 2 years, flawlessly as well. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, which motivated me to go gigabyte a 2nd time recently with a GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+. We'll see how long the MA770 lasts in a smaller / hotter case, crammed inside an even hotter MAME cab. I'm confident that it has many more years ahead of it.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Board is inexpensive

Cons: After almost a year the board failed to "post". After checking everything it all lead back to the mobo. I just checked all the reviews and with the "not so good" warranty service, I have decided to buy an msi or asus board.

5 out of 5 eggs3.5 years still going

Pros: Good bang for you buck. Never had one problem with this MB. Box says 50,000 hrs Japanese (made) solid capacitors. I have a about 15,000 to 20,000 hrs of usage on these capacitors so far. I've seen many motherboards go bad because of bad capacitors!

Cons: The MB didn't come with any electrons to make it work. I had to supply them :( Also, long video cards 8+ inches cover the IDE port. So, if you still have IDE drives, I recommend getting an IDE to SATA converter so it wouldn't matter if you covered the IDE connector on the MB.

Other Thoughts: never needed the Dual Bios. 2 Oz copper PCB board.

2 out of 5 eggsHit and miss

Pros: Excellent price, features, perfect for my build and budget at the time.
An excellent 8-count of USB ports as well as supporting 1066mhz DDR2 for the low cost made this board stand out to me (as well as AM2+ for upgrade-minded buyers like me)

In the times that it worked, it did so admirably and had one of the faster boot times I've experienced on a custom-built computer.

Cons: The board failed for no immediately discernible reason after around 5 or 6 months. However, the power supply I was using with it no longer worked, so I assumed that to be the problem.
One RMA later I have a new PSU, which lasted another month before also dying. I was almost certain that this was because the supply I had chosen was cheap/off-brand and thus unreliable, so I bought a 750 watt Antec on recommendation from a local PC outlet.
This PSU also lasted around a month, and I'm convinced that this motherboard is the culprit.

Other Thoughts: After the final PSU followed its predecessors, the board refused to work with any power supply.
I would normally mark this under Cons, but three dead power supplies and a year after its purchase I decided the board was ready to be retired anyways.

If you see one floating around the internet and want to make a cheap build for an elder relative or younger sibling, I would recommend you pass this mobo up.
While my experience obviously isn't typical for this board, other reviews suggest that it isn't unique either.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great MB for the $$$$$ Tons of features... Perfect for AMD gaming PC on a budget... Lots of Bios options, 4 RAM slots...Its a good all around MB

Cons: UHMM none so far and she is around 3 years old...

Other Thoughts: Used this MB for a Budget Gaming sytem and is still running strong after almost 3 years, I bought everything except the case from Newegg(including a 22"LCD) for under $600 back in 1/28/09....and its still a great gamer! Looking at Gigabytes X6 supported MBs now...
