5 out of 5 eggsHas been a great board

Pros: Good price and has been a stable performer

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have posted reviews on this board before but I have now owned this for 4 years come July 2013. not so much as a blip out of it. never had any failures out of this board. even minor problems are unheard of with this board.

Pros: it does the job

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: I WAS SO WORRIED READING ALL OF THESE REVIEWS. I had this board for a year+ and it was unused and I thought I was going to cry. finally got this sucker in a system not too long ago and now with everything going it works great. was a little confused for some plugs on the psu but it was remedied by some googling.

everything's working fine; had a slight issue with it not reading one of my drives but it turned out to be the sata cable that came WITH the board. I had another handy so it was no problem!

Pros: Worked Great for over a year.

Cons: Turned computer off to go to class...came back to a computer that would not boot. Check every part turns out the motherboard was fried.

Other Thoughts: Been a loyal gigabyte costumer...but i don't think i will take my chances again now i have to get a new motherboard shipped to my house...and hope that i will be able to still access my files...I might have to redo my capstone project now.

2 out of 5 eggsDiscontinued for a Reason (SATA)

Pros: For the price it was beast
and could run newer phenom II x4's

Cons: Also listed on other tech forums there is an issue with the SATA connections, specifically with recognizing hard drives.

Other Thoughts: Running an additional drive through the IDE as your start up drive seemed to work fine. The other SATA drive is then recognizable, but has issues when the OS is installed there and you want to boot from that location.

5 out of 5 eggsKIller MoBo, Killer Service

Pros: 2 oz of copper makes the motherboard a dream for over clocking a processor.

Allows 16gbs of DDR3 RAM!

As an animator, this was the best bang for the buck!

Cons: The 1st one I received was DOA and I had to return it. But that doesn't bother me because New Egg's return policy RULES!!!!!!

Other Thoughts: Great board to consider for a workstation. I know most of you are gamers out there, but well...think about getting thi board if you are going to build a workstation and make the 3D models that end up IN the games. And this board is great for that.

5 out of 5 eggsNot a disappointment

Pros: It's a nice motherboard. Easy setup and installation, decent BIOS, and it has all the features a non-Crossfire user such as myself could ask for. Works well with my Athlon II X3 and 5770. An appreciable bang for my buck.

Cons: None as far as the hardware goes.

Other Thoughts: Experienced some frustration when trying to install the hardware drivers that came with with the mobo. The Realtek audio and LAN drivers installed and worked fine on my XP partition, but both stopped working when I installed them on my Windows 7 partition (no audio or LAN). Both were working fine with w/e drivers 7 used by default. I couldn't even uninstall them properly, so I got frustrated and just reinstalled Windows 7. I downloaded a newer Realktek audio driver to see if it would work and it did. Sticking with the stock Windows 7 network driver though.
