DOOOOOOOOOOA
- Pros: Looks neat.
- Cons: Just put the system together for a friend out side of work, no post, no beep, no video, nothing. First and last GIGABYTE mobo. I've been building PCs for 6 years,(3 years personally, 3 years professionally.) I think i'll stick with A5U5 from now on.
- Other Thoughts: Good thing Newegg has awesome custmer service, and i'll RMA this thing back without issue.
- Pros: I bought a triple-core AMD X3 720 Phenom II Black Edition processor. Very easy to overclock and unlock it to a quad-core using this mother board.
- Cons: na
Solid budget board
- Pros: - Great budget AM3 mobo for Phenom II x4
- Onboard audio better then expected.
- 4 DD3 slots are just right.
- Cons: - One IDE connection. You'll want to attach IDE before installing the video card since it could overlap.
- One PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot. No SLI/Crossfire.
- Other Thoughts: Intrusion Detection (?) largely irrelevant.
XP users need to update to Service Pack 2 before installing the audio drivers from the mobo disc.
Overall, I was glad I purchased this product. Gigabyte even warranties it for 3 years*
