Nice!
- Pros: OC's really easy. Easy bios update, dident even need the drivers disk since i used win 7 updates. got my i5 to 4.0 without a hitch with an aftermarket cooler. Usually use ASUS but this turned out perfect for me. 10 USB ports! ESATA ports galore and crossfire if your into that.
- Cons: had an issue with a wireless adaptor but it turned out to be a driver issue. stupid linksys! No cons!
- Other Thoughts: Really well made board!
Works great with bios update
- Pros: Update to my first review of this mobo, after applying the bios update of Nov 6,2009, the USB ports work with the iPhone. It's very easy to install the bios update, just copy the new bios (p55ud4p.f4) to a flash drive, power on with the flash drive pluged in and use the boot time qflash utility. Works like a champ! Probably a good idea to save the current bios to the flash drive first just in case you need to revert.
- Cons: None after this month's bios update, much happier with it.
Good Board
- Pros: Boards runs fine with i5 @ 3.8 GHZ all day long.
- Cons: I wish it had 3 internal USB connections.
- Other Thoughts: Gigabyte delivers another win. I've used gigabyte boards in all my PCs for a couple of years now. Their website used to suck -- it's awesome now and everything the do is awesome.
