5 out of 5 eggsBest Deal Ever

Pros: Extremely durable and cool-running components, pretty good integrated video card, FIREWIRE, a ton of USB ports & headers, BLAZING fast network Also, PCIe 2.0 x16 slots can be used for SLI and can tear s$&t up Gaming-wise.

Cons: Audio /io jacks on back somewhat flimsy. That's about it.

Other Thoughts: Unless you work for NASA, you will never have to buy another motherboard for at least 8 years after buying this. This thing is indestructible and SO fast that it can handle the most intensive games; BELIEVE ME, I've tested it. Out of stock? Go and buy it somewhere else. This was the BEST mobo for it's money on newegg, period.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: 1) Gigabyte name -- They stand behind their products and support them extensively. This board currently has 6 bios revisions. Up to F6 (IE: F1-F6) -- Could sound bad, but alot of companies release a board and don't follow up very long with fixing compatibility issues. Gigabyte is good about that.

2) Built in heatsinks on every conceivable area of the MB. NB/SB/Mosfets, etc.

3) Dual LAN and Gigabit!

4) Dual channel, easy layout.

The board is as described. It is solid,.. I've personally removed and remounted for various reasons over half a dozen times without problem.

I must comment, someone said big heatsinks don't fit well on this board?

Not real sure where they get that from -- This board works fine with large heatsinks. I have a Noctua NH-D14 (one of the largest you can buy) -- and it sits just fine. I can even remove all the ram chips without removing the outer fan.

Cons: The Bios -- It is a little finicky if you are into overclocking and such. Things like voltage settings for DIMM voltage, say you want to set it to a manual 1.65v -- well the bios has 1.64 and 1.66. Why not 1.65? Weird things of that nature.

It has worked for everything I have wanted it to.

Other Thoughts: I run an i5-750 2.66Ghz with this Board. I overclock this chip to 4.011Ghz (x4 cores) stable on air. What more can you ask?

If you are looking for a stock board,.. this will do the job just fine.. it has a MILLION usb ports on it.. good lord, just count them ;)

Good buy, definite 5 eggs.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sturdy, attractive, stable. Tons of overclocking features. Nice buit-in audio.

Cons: The memory slots and fake North Bridge heatsink are quite close to the CPU (about half an inch of space between the boundary of the 4 heatsink pegs) which will make using a bulky aftermarket heatsinks either difficult or impossible without personal modifications.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap, and good overclocking

Pros: Nice and easy overclocking.
Very cheap.
Good quality.

Cons: Most big heatsink doesn't fit correctly, need to be forced in.
8X crossfire, but its less than 2% performance loss...

Other Thoughts: It's a sexy card, but i may go back with Asus, but my customer was on budget.

Pros: Great upgrade, easy to install. Didn't have to make any bios adjustments loaded up with win 7 only needed to download new drivers for video to work at best w/win 7. great price for combo

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Even used my old case just bought a OCZ stealth x Stream 700W to go with it.
Picked out Radeon HD4670 video card and hooked up to my Vizeo 42 LCD.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat performance, but...

Pros: More ports than I'd ever need.
Great Performance.
Easiest overclocking I've ever done.

Cons: I had a few minor issues with the board.
Has a Foxconn socket.

Other Thoughts: I ended up returning it, and getting a P55A-UD3 that didn't have the Foxconn socket. I don't know if I'd recommend against this board. I just wanted the peace of mind of a Lotes.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Combo

Pros: Easy install - Love the overclocking software that came with the motherboard. The Intel I5 CPU is blazing fast even when not overclocked. The bundled Fan/Heat sink with the CPU is a nice touch.

Cons: If the Mother board has 8 Sata connections, you should get 8 cables. MB only comes with 4 cables. This mother board requires an extra 8 pin 12v connector for CPU power. Most older Pwr Supplies do not have this connector.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard, 1 little issue

Pros: The board runs perfectly, and has been super stable. I have my i7 860 running at 3.6ghz at 1.18v. The features are great for the price.

Cons: Now the only complaint I have is the layout of the board. Notice how close the RAM slot are the the CPU socket. I had a very difficult time getting my Arctic cooling CPU cooler to fit. I had to grind off part of the fan shroud because it hits the motherboard heat sinks. Once you get your CPU cooler on, you will have a hard time getting your RAM into place. I was only able to get my Corsair dominator Memory into place after removing the heat spreaders from one of the dimms. I have noticed that many other boards have moved the memory slots further from the CPU slot.

Other Thoughts: Good board, but irritating setup
