Pros: Nicely constructed board, use quality components, works the way I want for my PC to work....It’s “FAST”.
Cons: Nothing I can think of yet.
Other Thoughts: Just bought this board to replace my old one (from a combo deal type of thing) and this one is great. It’s easy to install, took me less than 10 minutes to get it into the case and ready for me install Windows 7. I have 2 Seagate SATA3 2 terabyte drives and configure them to run as RAID 0 and it runs really smooth and very responsive….I click on an icon and it opens up right away, no lag or delay feeling, SATA3 rocks! This is my 1st Gigabyte board and I am happy with it.

wow USB 3.0 on board now, when new device will be released

Pros: SATA3, USB3.0, and more power to all USB ports. Although I don’t have any USB3.0 devices, the 333 Features of 3x power to the USB ports really do work. My USB storage drives no longer needs two USB cables to work!
Cons: Can any one or GIGABYTE rep tell me where I can get new USB 3.0 device???
Other Thoughts: I have two Barracuda SATA3.0 drives in RAID0, and the performance SCREAMS… Don’t need an expensive SSD. With my Gigabyte Radeon 4890, I probably won’t gain any significant performance using Crossfire (and forking out $200 for another graphics card). I am able to run a BCLK at 200 for 4GHz stable with air cooling… all the hype about 24 phase power and 2 oz really does work.

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: Tries to make up for the P55's lack of SATA 6Gb/s, USB3 by including Marvell/NEC addons.
Cons: To run memory in dual channel mode for 4 or 6 modules, they need to be single sided, not double sided. The 4 DIMM model (P55A-UD5) works with 4 DS or SS modules.
