3 out of 5 eggsPower up / LED Fan Problem

Pros: It is very modernize and has lot of components that would make this a good deal sense this board avereage around 70 to 100 bucks and its a 1156.

Cons: Overly too picky and manufacture isn't about anything when comes to answering the questions.

Other Thoughts: A lot of people have had the trouble with the board getting power to where it flickers for two seconds shuts down and reboots.

Heres the answer to everybody question it is the psu that you are using. A lot of people said they tried this already....it seems alot of people including me like to buy big cheap psu of course that means the gaming psu. If you notice the voltage switch on the back is different.

The average psu uses 110 and a 220. Most gaming psu are 115 and 230. So try the 110 and 220 and make sure it is set on 115 then everything should work

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mobo

Pros: Fully featured board for this pricepoint.
ALC889 onboard sound
Every known video output including DP
Easy to use bios.
Oc's like a bat out of hell!
It's a Gigabyte!

Cons: None i've encountered

Other Thoughts: I bought this board over 2yrs ago for $75 Shellshocker.
It has been rock solid.
Have no idea why there are so many negative comments.
I've changed the ram and even upgraded the cpu.
Not even a hiccup.
I own 3 Gigabyte mobo's and not one has given me any problems.

1 out of 5 eggsThis board is worth less than half its price.

Pros: When it finally started to work it worked decent

Cons: Its picky about every piece of hardware you can think of. Took me 3 PSU just to figure out that this board was not a total failure. Knowing that this was a bad board i gave in anyway and stuck with i. Big mistake, i can't list all the small problems i had with this board. Putting the pc to sleep would cause the pc to restart endlessly. Came home today to a dead board and on top of that i had just bought a 3D Monitor yesterday lol.. Leave it up to this piece of junk to die on me at the worst time.

Other Thoughts: I don't know what it is about these 1156 M ATX boards but the majority of them seem to have huge flaws. This board being the worst though.

2 out of 5 eggsDied after

Pros: Was a great motherboard while it lasted, seems it often dies between 1 - 2 years. and starts rebooting over and over again.

Cons: If your video card is large you may have a difficult time getting to the cmos clear (if you should ever have to) without taking the video card out.

After having for around 1 1/2 - 2 years it died. Keeps rebooting over and over again will not even post. After testing power supply etc.. determined the mobo is bad.

Other Thoughts: None that I can think of.

2 out of 5 eggsIt happened to me too!

Pros: Nice features

Cons: Died in 1-1/2 years - same issues as others reported - reboots on post

Other Thoughts: I just built up this system a few weeks ago. The motherboard was sitting on my shelf for over a year (purchased in March 2010 here on NewEgg). Everything was working fine, I ran thru a slew of tests. I deliver computer to customer, and when he gets home, the system won't boot! It powers on for about 2-seconds, then shuts down. It powers on again several seconds later, then the same shutdown. It will repeat this forever until I pull the power plug! I remove motherboard from system. I bench test with just mobo, Intel Core i3-530 CPU and different PSU. Same problem. Try different RAM, no difference. Swap CPU for an Intel Core i3-550. Same problem! What terrible quality! It must be a known defect, as this is the exact same problem described a few reviews (and likely others) below me! Starting to read up on Intel based Gigabyte boards, and I am beginning to believe it's time to steer clear of the brand! Just read up on any of their Mini-ITX systems! Looks like I am going to RMA.

2 out of 5 eggsAggrivating Problems

Pros: Easy install, simple yet it has everything i need.

Cons: I am also having issues similar to other reviewers. every game i play crashes in the midst of my games. i tried several different graphics cards and upgraded my power supply hoping to fix it but no breaks. i uprgraded my windows and bought a new HDD...nothing. also sometimes when my pc is on, it will randomly blue screen and then proceed to reboot itself. This has been very aggrivating and money consuming and i am now 150% sure that its this motherboard causing this issue.

1 out of 5 eggsStopped working after a year

Pros: Works fine when it works.

Cons: Same problem that other reviewers had. I bought this as part of a bundle on Newegg a little over a year ago (~May 2010). About a month ago, my system started randomly rebooting.

Sometimes if I left the computer off for a while it would work for a while before randomly rebooting again. Last week the computer just turned off and hasn't turned back on since.

Thinking it was the PSU, I bought a replacement to test it out, but it only powered up briefly before going silent and quiet. After reading the reviews, I'm quite certain I'm having the same problems as the other reviewers.

Other Thoughts: Very frustrating. I use the computer for work a lot. Now I have to work on a smaller laptop until I can get a replacement.
