4 out of 5 eggsahh

Pros: well, it's ok, just need more PCI-E slots.

Cons: I think I shorted out one of the standard PCI slots w/ a thrashed wireless card.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you buy the one with the right memory, i still have a brand new board with DDR2. Kinda didn't get to returning it (2yrs ago)

5 out of 5 eggsBA DA BA BA BA!!!!!!

Pros: Everything works great. Sure this isn't the fastest thing out there; but, for what it does, it is great! Everything works fine. Have 16GB Kingston Ram running like a champ.

Cons: Not really a *con* per se; but, when I first got the board, I only had 2 sticks of 2gb ram. For some reason, I had to put the sticks in the *second channel set* instead of the first. I called Kingston and they said *thats just the way the board functions*. It still worked with 2 and it works fine with 4. Go figure.

Other Thoughts: I wish it had more features for today's specs especially sata6. Considering the age of the tech on this board and what it has and does, I think it is a very great value and a very great board. Stability is #1 in my book and no disappointments there for me.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Would only boot without video card. Didn't help that I couldn't see anything to save my life.

Cons: Came in wouldn't pass the POST and after a new PSU wouldn't recognize my video card. I cleared the CMOS and switch the memory around, removed one stick at a time and still nothing to pass POST.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: Nothing really.

Cons: Everything. The first one was defective right away, so I sent it back for a replacement. The second one worked alright for a week-ish. Only problem at that time was that I had to turn the computer on and off before it would actually display a screen. Then after about a week the sound quit working. Then a couple more days and the whole thing just quit. Gigabyte is a terribad brand. Do NOT waste your time or money into purchasing one. You get what you pay for, a cheap peice of junk. I suggest something that is well known for reliability such as an ASUS.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointment

Pros: LGA 775 board, multiple sata ports for updated drives

Cons: was running fine then i suddenly had non stop blue screen errors, took computer apart cpu and everything, found MB had suddenly had raised CPU pins, dunno what caused MB looked fine at install find it hard to believe that the board was bad, bought another to replace original board i bought since return was impossible, new board and i bought a new cpu to replace the one i had originally other then being slow 90% of the time its working, also only one IDE no secondary

Other Thoughts: dunno why but it seems to have issues with video card drivers that seem to make the computer run slow as all hell, i used to have faith in gigabyte but not anymore. Couldn't id my older DVD drive, and Both the original board and the replacement board i bought came with CD's that couldnt be read ?!? :P not on the machine it got installed in, nor my main machine

3 out of 5 eggsOA board

Pros: Price was good, and I have had excellent results with other Gigabyte boards.

Cons: Board will not post. CPU fan starts for a split second and stops. I waited three weeks to do the installation due to unexpected travel. The 30 day Newegg window expires 5-24.
I suspect a RMA and exchange is merited.

1 out of 5 eggsgigajunk

Pros: zappa,queensryche...and newegg.

Cons: first mobo...doa. would not even boot.how does a mobo like this even find its way into a shipping box? blind inspectors? would not even power up. really?REALLY????REALLY???
second mobo. IT BOOTED!YAY!..not. supplied driver disc,"not responding." online d/l? nope.on ambien. board wont recognize ANY card . .or its own chipset. again.how does this smoldering ofal mass on ice get shipped? how does this get into a box for shipping? any comments gigabrick?

I cannot report any damage to the "stuff," other than doing 4 mobo's in as many days...and the old config/mobo?? working like a champ. you go giganot. outstanding.

clearly...gigawont gives little regard for you or your components. caveat emptor.

Other Thoughts: how an outstanding concern like newegg allows refuse like this to be sold under there name,well....I would assume..times are tough. if you got a good one? make the sign of the cross over your box,rub counter-clockwise and chant.."bill gates is good" repeat 3x.
