Took forever to get it to recognize a Samsung SSD. And now video issues. Note that there are no cards or devices that could possibly cause a conflict,, just MB, PS, and HD. Thought with it's "mil-spec" construction, it might be something else. Then it wouldn't read the optical drives any more. Then it wouldn't read the card reader through USB, and so forth. Disintegrating before our eyes, so to speak. Other Thoughts: Got another GB board for my rig, and this one for my wife and son's machine. The one in my machine has been relatively trouble-free thus far, and performs well. Gets worked hard, too. Their machine doesn't get worked very hard and isn't used constantly. Didn't matter in this case with this "soft" board. Time to face the obvious and get another mainboard. Have never been much of a GB fan, but can't spend the money on a Tyan anymore, so it becomes a toss-up among these cheapie offshore boards. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? I have recently finished my build and I was ready to start using this computer. I powered it on and guess what? I get beep errors! I have yet to even enter bios. I have been getting 3 long beeps and 1 short beep. I look in the back of the manual and there was no definition for this beep error. I was geniunely upset. I ordered this about 2 month ago for my build. I got all the other parts, and put it together. So fast foward to powering it on, I get an unknown beep error. It is three long beeps and then 1 short beep. I looked in the manual and It had nothing for that type of beep which leads me to think it is a defective MB. The reason I think this is because I tried running it barebones and it still gave me that sequence of beeps.
