1 out of 5 eggsGIGABYTE let me down

Pros: 4 Memory Slots, Supports FX Processors.

Cons: PCI-E x1 Doesn't Work (All of them)
Cannot get my Graphics Card to work properly (PCI-E x16)

Other Thoughts: I'm starting to think that GIGABYTE products are inferior products. I am very disappointed with my motherboard. I have gotten my pci-e wireless adapter replaced thinking it was defective, but same results with this motherboard. PCI-E x1 doesn't work properly. Everything worked well with my other MSI Motherboard. It is still under 3 Year Warranty. How do I get this replaced?

5 out of 5 eggsStill going fine.

Pros: Very large, made for larger cases. Many extra USB ports. Onboard sound has pretty acceptable quality, the Microphone sound is a bit low though.

Cons: The 3 pin fan plugs on the motherboard are a big close to other plugs, making it awkward to plug them in sometimes, but that's more of a nitpick. I guess the biggest con is that the board doesn't come with more motherboard jumper screws. I didn't have enough and had to find some to instal it, but i guess that's more of a personal problem.

Other Thoughts: Will consider buying this future generation of board, being that its been so long this specific version is no longer available.

5 out of 5 eggsStill working great after 2 years!

Pros: I've had this board since January of 2013. It has never missed a lick. Sad to see others having issues. It keep my rig running probably 18 hours of the day, every day. I've ran two different CPU's, an FX-6100 and my current FX-8320. I overclocked them both easily with this board. 2 different GPU's worked flawlessly as well. Running an SSD, and 2 1TB HDD's as well. Also have ran 2 different sets of RAM. Solid board.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Solid board. Still kicking after 2 years of perpetual use. Gaming, work, OC'ing, parts swaps, etc etc.

1 out of 5 eggsTwo Years

Pros: Worked when it did.
This review is only helpful to those that already have the motherboard and want to know what is going on. As no one can purchase this motherboard anymore.

Cons: After an hour or so, the computer freezes. There is no blue screen, no black shut-down. The image stays frozen and I can’t interact with the computer, thus I have to turn off my power supply as a means to restart it.
I have gone through a lot of hardware, so I know this thing is to blame, because it is the only part that I have not changed since I built my computer.

Other Thoughts: Worked well for six months, and then started giving me issues with my memory. At first I blamed the memory manufacturer, but then after upgrading the: memory, cpu, graphics card, psu, and adding an ssd; I now know this motherboard was the problem the whole time.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Has held up to serious abuse for years with no issues.

Cons: Outdated chipsets and socket type. Not really a con if it's what you're after though...

3 out of 5 eggsCrashing and bluescreens. Pretty certain this is the cause

Pros: Inexpensive, worked fine for a while

Cons: Not a lot of fan headers, not 100% sure but suspect this may be causing crashes

Other Thoughts: This was my first PC build, late 2012 to early 2013. I just went inexpensive, and this board seemed like a good option. And it was. It served fine up until recently. Then problems started arising. Bluescreens, lockups, weird video glitches. I started swapping out components. Updated BIOS, upgraded processors, new graphics card, changed out the memory sticks. I'mgoing to attempt an RMA for this motherboard, as I don't have the money to keep buying all new components. If this fixes it, I will edit my review.

2 out of 5 eggsworked for a while

Pros: easy to setup and worked great for a while

Cons: just after about a year of using this motherboard it just stopped working. Me and a friend have done everything we can think of to rule out what the problem was and it was the motherboard. I don't regret buying this product but I am now unable to continue gaming because I don't have the money to buy a new motherboard.

1 out of 5 eggs2 Years later review

Pros: Worked pretty well for 2 years

Cons: Pretty weak reliability for an "award" winning board. The RMA process has been noting but a nightmare. After it took three days for them to "receive" the board even though I know it was already delivered. They proceeded to take the rest of the week to decide it was actually broken, without telling me what the actual problem was. So I called them probably for the second time to find out that even though the board was marked as broken I was no closer to receiving a replacement. The person on the phone stated that even though it was marked as broken it was going to have to pass though another person taking who knows how long even though they could have already started shipping me a new board. If I knew the process would have been this terrible I would have just bought a new board (not a gigabyte) so I could just sell other board. Now I'm just stuck with no computer writing bad reviews of a board I should have received last week, or at least had in the mail.

Other Thoughts: Even though the board worked for as ling as it did, going though this rma process has been a nightmare.
