3 out of 5 eggsWorks when it works

Pros: Well, it works, usually.

Cons: I am honestly unsure whether it's the motherboard or my A8-3850 APU or what, but I had a devil of a time getting this rig to run stable for weeks. It still randomly goes into a boot cycle, stopping as Windows (XP Pro x64) is loading. Pretty much stock settings just to keep it running.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried any other motherboard or cpu configurations, as this is my only fm1 rig.

All drivers are current, and once into windows the computer will continue to run until I shut it down. I've tested by running the computer 24x7 for over a month straight with moderate use every day, and like i said, it's fine once windows finishes loading. Until that point though, *fingers crossed that this time it won't reboot... again...*

1 out of 5 eggsEasy to setup but not last!

Pros: Easy to setup and more utilities then an average user needs. Just plug and play.

Cons: craap exactly 3 months!

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte customer service is a front desk built to avoid serving customers. Rebate is also not their responsibility either. 4 rebates sent out and none comes in...bad luck for me.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget FM1 Board!!

Pros: *Feature List & Price!
*Plenty of options in BIOS
* APU A4-3400 @ 2.7Ghz runs @ 6.5c Idle & 24.6c Max.
Total Power draw per my P3 Kill-a-Watt meter says 32w Idle & 61w under load yet averages 39. Not bad at all!

Cons: *No HDMI port for video out :(
*Bios splash screen looks like you're going to boot into Windows 95! lol Seriously.... please use a higher res pic in future revisions, this makes you guys look cheap.

Other Thoughts: First, I never use the included CD/DVDs that are included with motherboards. I always download the latest drivers from manufacturers website. While reading reviews on here from other APU board purchasers I expected to have to hunt for APU drivers on AMD's site. But that wasn't the case at all. If any of you are curious, APUs are listed under Desktop. And from there is cake to get what you need. Overall, its a good board. We can't complain.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap Server Mobo

Pros: Second Gigabyte motherboard, and both have been flawless.

Decent features, cheap!

Bought with an AMD A4-3400 and 8GB of G.Skill RAM. Using it to run a Terraria, Minecraft and Team Speak server.

Cons: -

Other Thoughts: Great for what it is! Reliable, worked right out of the box.

4 out of 5 eggsA good choice for a budget build!

Pros: Everything worked well from the first time it was powered up (to install Windows 7). Runs amazingly cool over all. In short, a good nontempermental budget board

Cons: Wish it had a couple more USB headers and Fan Headers (only two USB headers and a single system fan header). The supplied utility disk was loaded with "bloatware" (had to be careful when installing the hardware drivers to avoid it).

Other Thoughts: It was necessary to install the drivers (from the supplied disk) in order for all hardware features to function under windows 7 (no big deal - the process went smoothly).
