5 out of 5 eggsGood deal!

Pros: I bought this to replace on older board without replacing my q6600 which is still plenty fast for what I need to do. It's small, has just enough features, and has been running for about 2 years without a problem. I haven't tried overclocking or anything like that.

Cons: None!

2 out of 5 eggsWill not post.

Pros: It was shiped fast and was easy to set up. Looks nice and has a good setup for my tower.

Cons: After hooking all of the wires and everthing up and hitting the power switch the system will not post and will cycle from turning on and off.

Other Thoughts: Took me a while to finaly get this set up because I had to order a new heatsink.

5 out of 5 eggsGigaByte Motherboard

Pros: The Gigabyte G41MT-S2PT was a great replacement for my ASUS P5N73-AM mobo. The ASUS held up five years.

No problems putting the old Intel processor into the new board. Motherboard initialized flawlessly. I was just happy to still find the micro form factor that supported the LGA 775 socket type for my older processor. Ordered board on a Monday and on Tuesday the product arrived! Fast.

Cons: None to date.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is a professional outfit with superior customer service.

4 out of 5 eggsOnly use to keep old computers alive

Pros: I bought this mobo to rebuild a older computer with a Yorksfield CPU. It has been working well. Forget it if you want it for higher demanding games.

Cons: It states that you can OC the unit but it is just not true. Highly unstable when not at factory setting. Most of the time it won't even acknowledge the fact you changed the settings in read outs. It just crashes.

Other Thoughts: I give it 4 eggs for what I stated in the title. As a unit overall I would give it 2.5-3 eggs as this thing is just average.

3 out of 5 eggsWas good while it lasted

Pros: Supported my DDR3 RAM
Worked great with my 550ti video card
the audio sounded great compared to my old Asus-P5N

Cons: It lasted about about a year, maybe a month or two in and just quit on me.

Other Thoughts: Going to try to RMA it, when it died I was in the middle of a court case so I used my old MOBO and got distracted by life. Hopefully it is still within the three year warranty. If not I might still just buy another one. Finding an unused LGA 775 board at a decent price is tough.

4 out of 5 eggsMOBO

Pros: Dual Bios. Installed Linux/Ubuntu which is good. Lot of back up memory. Navigation from powering is easy. Works great for me. Handles today's computing.

Cons: Not many extra connections for the USB, can buy more.

Other Thoughts: For an old processor this is a great board.
