1 out of 5 eggs  Garbage board

Pros: Fast, lots of options, thunderbolt ports.

Cons: Had this board for 1 year and 2 months, then would simply not turn on. Contacted Gigabyte, got an RMA and sent. Whole processes took just over 4 weeks. Called 1 time per week to check up on board status, was told it was able to POST and all was looking fine but would take 5 days of stress testing before getting back. Got it back and it was DOA. Called back, employee told me he would send me a new board and would expedite new board if I filled out sheet with credit card info (would only be charged if old board was not received), new RMA was given for old board - dropped at post office within the hour. 1 week later I called for checkup, employee sounds like he hates his job, rude and unprofessional; was told I wouldn't be receiving new board until old was checked, and would only be refurbished - not new. Asked for a manager. Manager made no apologies for employees' rudeness and stated his employees would not say "new", only refurb. I had written what employee had said...

Other Thoughts: It's been 23 days, latest board now intermittently shuts down and came dirty upon arrival. Called Gigabyte, they explained to email them with pc build info and would take it from there.

Multiple bad reviews, horrible customer service, bad replacement products. Would rate as "0" if possible.

1 out of 5 eggsappears to be a pro card, is not

Pros: lots of connectors, but physical architecture prevents usage of all of them.

Cons: despite being advertised, it is impossible to mount a 3rd graphics card that takes 2 slot because the board connectors are immediately below the 3rd PCi Express slot.
On removing the 2nd gfx card from its slot, the cheap plastic on the rear of the slot broke, including a very flimsy metal connector on the very back of the slot. Card in that slot no longer works.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: BIOS Features are great.

Having 2 sets of SATA ports on different controalers is amazing. You can simply have one set to ACHI for your SSD Boot and then another Controaler for RAID set up.

Cons: None yet.

5 out of 5 eggsBest z77 motherboard..

Pros: Motherboard is of very high quality.
Overclocks CPU and RAM without effort.
Runs much cooler than every motherboard I have owned.
Overclocks CPU with lower voltages.
Extremely Stable voltages.

Cons: No cons....

Other Thoughts: This is the first time I've bought a Gigabyte motherboard and I'm very impressed.. The bios is very easy to navigate and its very stable. I picked this one up instead of the Asus z77 v pro and Im glad that I did.

3 out of 5 eggs1 for 2

Pros: I bought two of these to build two new systems both worked right off the bat with no problems. I've used Gigabyte in the past and like how durable their boards are. Unfortunately after about a month or so one of the boards started to have issues.

Cons: The second board started to arbitrarily not post on a restart or cold boot. It was one of the most frustrating issues because I couldn't put my finger on what was failing. It would start up and end up giving me an error code AE "boot to legacy operating system" and won't post. I'm about to purchase a replacement just to see if it is specifically the board that's giving me issues.

5 out of 5 eggsHackintosh Monster

Pros: USB 3.0
eSata
Thunderbolt
Hackintosh install was relatively smooth

Cons: Wifi/Bluetooth has to be activated in Windows before working in OSX, but if you are not using for OSX then you don't have to worry about that.

Other Thoughts: I just love having a Mac Pro with thunderbolt before you could buy one.

Just a heads up if you are thinking of using this as a hackintosh. I had to make the board boot legacy only in the bios to get things to work perfectly smooth. Just incase anyone else is banging their head off the wall trying to get it to work

5 out of 5 eggsHackintoshable Powerhouse

Pros: Very good board. I've got it quad booting OS X (hackintosh/customac) openSUSE, ubuntu 13.04, and Win 8. So far things couldn't have gone smoother. I've been using Gigabyte with all my computers at home recently, and I've been extremely impressed with their quality, reliability, and specifications. I've built a beast, thanks for helping me Gigabyte!

Cons: I would say a con would be I probably should have bought a workstation board. I also think the colors are a bit funny. I'm not too big of a fan of blue on blue. Too be honest though, I think reviewing a motherboard that is in a solid case for it's looks is a bit silly. The UEFI is fine, the UEFI option with the GUI is silly. I don't need visuals to click on. That being said, I can see where it would be helpful for someone who is less tech savvy. POST times aren't as quick as some boards I've seen either (although they're definitely very fast). Honestly I'm just nitpicking.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome MotherBoard

Pros: Lots of fan connections.
32GB RAM Supported.
Plenty of USB 3 connections.
Easy to tweak the BIOS for over clocking, etc.

Cons: None that I can think of. Everything is fine on mine.

Other Thoughts: Besides all the Pros, the board itself is pretty darn sexy. This was my first built PC, but I've been a tech for years and this MB looks and performs really well. I would recommend the NewEgg video to find out more.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great looking board with plenty of room to install hardware.

Cons: Installed with two different 1200 watt PSU's and unit only flickers for half a second with no activity after. After researching on the net, it seems there's a secret list of compatible PSU's that only work with this board. (Which doesn't make any sense to me)

Other Thoughts: Just to be clear, I am sure their is no secret list of PSU's, just some weird anomaly where certain PSU's do not work with this board.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for your comments. Honest and constructive opinions are always welcome. We apologize for your difficulty with your Gigabyte product.

There is NO secret list of PSU. It's probably a single case PSU issue. Please try a different PSU as a test. If you require further assistance, please contact us at newegg-support@gigabyte-usa.com with the case number 2013050503in the subject line. We will provide personalized service and analysis to help solve your issue as soon as possible.
