Don't count on bios updates. Ver 6.0 only has one bios update. My ver 5.0 only has the initial release. Because of this my motherboard doesn't properly recognize my Phenom II B93 cpu. It runs it at 1.4 volts at auto and I cannot lower it in the bios because that is the minimum voltage listed.

The CPU fan header does not support PWM control, only Vcore. Who still does that?

The board only has one case/system fan header. Any board made in the last 8 years needs at least 2(1 intake/1 exhaust). Found out later that my system fan header doesn't even work. :-(

Other Thoughts: I didn't expect much outside of the basics but this board doesn't meet those to me. No one comes out with the perfect bios on first release so some updates should be expected. Because my CPU isn't properly operated it's running at higher voltage than necessary which also means that the Vcore fan controller is running high with more fan noise not to mention higher temps from the cpu. I got this board to replace their excellent GA-MA785GM-US2H so I could upgrade to DDR3 ram. Guess it's back to DDR2 now.

Needs more fan headers! AMD systems run HOT! I don't think I can recommend this board for higher running cpus

Cons: -unknown reason for failure, died out of the blue within 6 months.

Other Thoughts: Working on getting it sent out for replacement atm, just sad to have to deal with this. Used to run GIGABYTE on my main machines so thought I would give this one a chance and got a bad apple. giving it a 2 star because I know this can just happen, not like they sent me a bad one on purpose. Was working 100% then one day it would boot. Tested everything, psu, bypassing power button etc and ended up being the board.

Pros: Price/Power/usb 3/support 125w cpu / dual bios

Cons: Bad system fan plug position/ Highest support of ram 1600 or less/ doesn't fit nice in multi size case

Other Thoughts: Great for price perfect for regular or multimedia production but gaming use i would say get a full atx and stand alone video card

Pros: It turns on.

Cons: It's a nightmare.
Many people seem to have issues, including myself.

Other Thoughts: Even though I read other reviews about this board being a nightmare or being DOA, I bought it anyway, and now I regret it. While it turns on, it will not let me install any OS. I tried up to date versions of Ubuntu three different times (with three different ISOs), Zorin, and Windows 7, tried with three different hard drives etc. Nothing worked. They all crash during installation. I have about 20 failed hours into this motherboard.

Maybe this board is good when it actually works, but judging by the amount of people who have issues with this board, I would say go with something else.

Pros: There are so many pros about this product. I have had absolutely ZERO issues with this board (although I've pretty much only had it a month). I left PC gaming because I traded my old rig for a Xbox One, but I just really missed tinkering with overclocking and trying to get a gaming pc to run JUST how I like it.

Anyway, this board has been amazing. I got it to pair with an FX-6300 processor (I personally just wouldn't trust a Micro ATX board to bring out the full potential of any FX 8 core processor, but that's just me). I'm running this with 16GB ram, the FX-6300, 240gb SSD, 500GB hard drive (gonna upgrade soon), and a GTX 570 (also gonna upgrade, but it's not urgent because it still handles games like a boss in general).

I currently have my FX-6300 OC'ed to 4.3Ghz, and I'm sure I could push more out of the processor, but I don't feel the need to. This processor has NEVER stayed above 60% use for an extended about of time no matter what I throw at it. (I'm a huge tab and app junkie)

Cons: The only con I can think about is that it only has 3 gb/s SATA. But then again, I knew that when I bought it, so I wouldn't dare taking away a star.

Other Thoughts: HIGHLY recommend for a budget build. Just make sure that you know what you're buying, and you WILL NOT be disappointed

Pros: Solid performing board

Cons: the USB 3.0 chipset is not supported by Oculus and with the bad decision to put the PCI-E 1x slot right where the heatsinks of most modern video cards go, it's not possible to add on a supported USB controller.

Other Thoughts: I had hopes of using this board to power my Oculus Rift system since it was small and has worked well for me for a year. Sadly, a USB 3.0 controller that doesn't fully support USB 3.0 (go figure...) and really bad placement of expansion slots (you didn't really want to USE those right?), it's a mediocre board if you don't want to do anything other than web browsing.

Pros: Final and last Gigabyte AM3 mATX motherboard with HDMI output. Many used AM3 processors are depreciating in prices fast, making this board very desirable and price will go up fast.

Cons: SATA II and 760g chipset. Obsolete, but at least it saves you money right now than going with FM2.

Other Thoughts: This board has been discontinued by Gigabyte since January 2016, and Newegg won't receive anymore after this final-batch in-stock right now. Price has gone up now, and there won't be anymore rebate. Get yours today and immediately before price shoots up to $99 fast. Gigabyte discontinued this board because it's stealing sales away from FM2+ boards.

Pros: Fair priced Great for starters builders and people interested in DIY
