3 out of 5 eggsNo Linux AP Mode

Pros: Small, capable

Cons: No master mode to enable Linux AP wireless hotspot. You'll have to blow the second physical port and purchase a separate AP.

Other Thoughts: Don't get this board thinking you'll make it into a Linux AP wireless Hotspot. The built in Wireless PCI-E from Intel doesn't support it in Cent/RHEL. See this: under "iwlagn".

5 out of 5 eggsLittle Power House

Pros: Fast, solid layout, and feature packed! So far this board has performed beyond my expectations!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Like most mITX boards its a bit cramped for space when it comes to I/O headers, ports, and other connectors. If you have a monster CPU cooler I could see layout being an issue

4 out of 5 eggsGIGABYTE GA-H77N-WIFI

Pros: Size, ESXi 5.x supported hardware, NIC with teaming, Great for home server usage.

Cons: it would be nice to have up to 32 GB memory support

Other Thoughts: This is small unit that packs a punch. If you are looking to build a server, you may want to look at this unit.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid board

Pros: Perfect board for a Win7/Hackintosh build. Painless installation, was able to fit a 212+ on this board with zero hassle. Stays relatively cool even when gaming for several hours.

Cons: As others have stated, WiFi does not work under OSX. Not the boards fault.

Other Thoughts: 3570K w/ 212+ @ 3.4ghz
GB H77 WiFi
2x 4GB Snipers @ 1866Mhz
Samsung Evo 250GB x2 Raided
Asus GTX 660 DCII

4 out of 5 eggsSolid mini board

Pros: Full featured motherboard, definitly a durable class 4; pretty solid build.

Cons: It could have been arranged a little better, I prefer the the main power connections to be on one side, especially something this small.

Other Thoughts: Even though I didn't buy the board at this site; I bought this board for a mac clone build. Since the centrino wifi board card wasn't gonna be compatible with mac OS; luckily I ordered a mini wifi card with realtek chipset so I can utilize the wifi capability this board has to offer.

4 out of 5 eggsCould be arranged better

Pros: -It works. Hasn't caused any problems.
-No VGA wasting space on back panel.

Cons: -Refuses to boot from an ancient hard drive I pulled out of an old laptop.
-Insists on running my 1.25v 1600mhz RAM (GSkill Sniper) at 1.35v 1333. Doesn't really bother me though. I know some mobo's don't get along well with low voltage RAM.
-Cables could be arranged much better. I very much prefer boards that have at least the 24-pin power and SATA plug in to the front edge next to the RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice board

Pros: Worked right out of the box. It has been a few years since I put together a system. This was an "update" for my Sandy Bridge i5 2400. The new UEFI Bios was great, saw my SSD right off and already set to AHCI, no need to change 1st boot to USB, plugged USB in reboot and Windows was installing within seconds. Put everything in a BitFenix Prodigy.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome little board

Pros: Features on board are placed very well. It's hard to find a board where everything is placed nicely. The wireless card is not in the way. The audio port is not in a terrible spot like the Asus mini itx boards are.
3d Bios. It's gimmicky, but it's really cool.

Cons: GPU slot is stupid close to the Processor. That's obviously from the fact that this is a mini itx board, but it keeps you from putting slightly larger heatsinks on your CPU.
No Sata on motherboard. This is a shame as I use computers with Sata to to use HDD docks so I can do Virus scans and data transfers at stupid fast speeds.
I work at a computer shop so I need that to do my job as quick as I can. This is a small thing but I fell in love with sata. Oh well. The USB 3.0 is more than enough to make up for it.

Other Thoughts: I just wish this had SATA.
I wish the motherboard came with direct antenna for the wireless as well as the long cable ones. I like just the antenna for portability. No one wants to carry more cables than needed.

4 out of 5 eggsCouldn't get it to work properly with PCI-E Video Card

Pros: Great form factor, sturdy seeming, strong wireless, great price point, 1155 is a pro in itself

Cons: I couldn't get it to work, even after a week long back-and-forth with customer service. First, it wouldn't put video out to my PCI-E GTX660 at all, nor on-board video when it was plugged in; then, it would send to on-board video with it plugged in, but not detect the PCI-E card; then it would detect the PCI-E card, output to it, but any advanced program (games) would crash, and 3/4 of the time it wouldn't boot still - instead of load windows after the Windows 8 wheel, it'd black screen and the monitor would intone that there was no input.

Customer support were very helpful and supportive, and so was New Egg support; ultimately couldn't get it to work, however, and even BIOS flashing didn't fix it. When it booted, it worked pretty good... we concluded that there was some fault with my specific board. If this fault didn't happen, I'm sure the board would be a 5.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Little Board

Pros: Gigabyte quality is well represented in this itx product. For a budget build it has a really nice set of features, Dual Lan +WiFi and Bluetooth make it an all around sweet start to any type of system you want to build be it budget gamin, HTPC, NAS box or Home server. It is better than it looks. OS install went smooth, Driver install was slick, and everything worked on the first try! (Win7 with 120GB Intel SSD and 2 WD 500GB Scorpio Black in RAID 0 for storage drive.

Cons: Two SATA cable in box, one had both ends straight and the other had one end with a 90 degree bend. would have been nice to see both cable be the same...but that is just a small note, nothing that impacts the system build or performance.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to upgrade my main system with a Xeon processor, when I looked at all the spare components that I had laying around in my parts bins, I figured I could make another computer with just a new MB. Figured I would do some customized type of portable system and use my 3570K and extra RAM to build a portable PC with full capabilities. Wireless lan was very easy to set up with the included utilities and the entire system ran as good as my ASUS Z77 Sabertooth system where most of the spare parts came from. Definitely would recommend this for anyone looking to save a couple of bucks and still use 1155 chips.
