GIGABYTE GA-F2A55M-HD2 FM2 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: This is a very good board when you get the bugs worked out.... when i got this board i paired it with a A-10, 8g or 1866 kingston hyperX ram. when i booted it would not post in bios properly.. then when booted into windows it didnt not run auto at 1866. HERE is where it got tricky i had to call gigabyte and have them walk me threw there way of seting up the ram @1866... IT does read 1866 but you have to mess with there extreme memory profile to get it too.

Cons: none after i got the ram to read 1866

Pros: It kinda works.

Cons: WinXP Pro can not shut it down. It gets to "it is now safe to turn off your computer". Then you have to hit the power button. I got two of these and it happens with both. Microsoft says it is a bios setup......not with this board. I do not have the two weeks to send back and get different ones. These have to be up and running now. I have always trusted Gigabyte, but Asus is starting to get my attention. Going to run WinXP? Get another board.

Other Thoughts: I have been building and repairing computers for over 30 years. I am not new at this, but I just don't understand why Gigabyte would do this!!!!

Pros: i got this board because i wanted to have a amd a10 with a 2nd gpu and this was a product that supports that; also a cheap board with hdmi and sound through hdmi and it does

Cons: does not fit the pc case i got for here hec 7k but i rigged it up

Other Thoughts: great for what i wanted i have never built a pc and it was cut and dry easy no probs at all the "3d" bios are very easy to navigate

Pros: Booted right up, recognized everything with no struggle. Got in a combo for about 50 bucks, so, cheap to boot!

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: The 64gb memory capacity is NOT a typo as I originally thought! But, 32gb single memory modules for desktops are pretty hard to find right now haha, still, good to know the board has upgrade options in the future.
