5 out of 5 eggsGigabyte Mobo

Pros: Good price point, HDMI

Worked right out of the box.

Got rebate within 2 weeks (had to pay extra $1 for faster service)

Cons: Usb 2.0 only and Sata 3 not 6 But knew these things before purchase and still bought mobo.

Other Thoughts: I got this motherboard for a second pc for myself (My gamer is too much Pc to keep running 24/7).

I run the board with a amd A6-6400 and it does all the things I need to do with ease. If I want to play games or encode video my other pc if better for that (quad core cpu, discrete gpu ect.
Good board for the price

4 out of 5 eggsNice little Board

Pros: It boots up, Has HDMI, DVI, VGA, Love the small size. Still running for me... Noticed others had allot of DOA boards.

Cons: The board seems smaller then a Micro-ATX, I always build MICRO PC and all my other boards are larger then this one. This board looks like an ITX it's so small. NOT A CON FOR ME THOUGH.

Other Thoughts: How the heck does this thing support the new FM2+ processors but it still only uses 2.0 usb and 3Gb SATA ???

2 out of 5 eggsDidn't Work

Pros: It was small, pretty and had a detailed manual with it.

Cons: Was DOA. Couldn't get it to bring up any sort of video. I used two different video cards, from the same manufacturer, and still couldn't get the build to work. Thankfully the RMA process was easy enough.

Other Thoughts: It's good for a budget build that doesn't need too many bells or whistles, but you might be better off spending a little extra money for something better. Dual Bios also would have been cool, had I ever made it that far.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly.

Pros: Worked out of the box for me. There are a lot of negative reviews (which made me nervous before purchasing) but so far I've had it a day and have not had any issues. Will update this review if it stops working.

Cons: No USB 3.0. Other than that, solid board.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. Not a ton of expansion options as it's a Micro ATX board but it's great for a budget or HTPC.

1 out of 5 eggsWont work

Pros: None.

Cons: I just bought this motherboard and other parts to complete a computer. When I put it all together it would not turn on. I figured it was a dead mother board but when I got the replacement motherboard it didnt work either. i have checked all other options in what could be wrong but every other part i have works fine and is compatible with the board. I think newegg got a bad batch of these motherboards. Please help me as I am in dire need of this computer to work and I dont have anymore expendable money to spend trying to make it work. Please help me.

Other Thoughts: I would really like to get this computer working. Its been a month now since i ordered everything and I still havent been able to use what I spent 360$ on. Thank you for the easy RMA process as well New Egg

Unable to power on the PC, please check the following:

1. Be sure both ATX 24-Pin and ATX12V 4 or 8-Pin are firmly connected into the board.

2. Check the chassis power switch to make sure it's connected to the "Power Switch" pins on the front panel header, please see user manual for the exact location of the power switch pins.

3. Power up the system by making contact the power switch pins with a paperclip.

4. Disconnect additional components or hardware to see if the system is able to power on with the minimum system configuration.

5. Test the motherboard on the test bench (outside of the computer case) to eliminate the ground issue.

6. Try another power outlet or bypass any battery backup system.

7. If possible, test the power supply unit in another PC to ensure it is in working condition.

8. Attempt to test different model of power supply unit to rule out PSU related possibility.

1 out of 5 eggsDead

Pros: None

Cons: First motherboard would not start-up. Called for replacement, replacement wont start-up either. Ive checked all possibilities and its not a compatibility issue. The only conclusion I can come too is that there is a bad batch of motherboards from Gigabyte. Please help as i have spent alot of money to get this computer built and I would just like to see that my money has not been wasted.

Other Thoughts: Please help.

1 out of 5 eggsMine was DOA too... twice

Pros: All connecting points are nicely labeled. Easy to hookup.

Cons: Though I did not purchase this from Newegg, I mine was also DOA. No post, no video, no beeps. Returned it for another of the same make/model... Had same problem. Going ASUS after I return this one.

For no POST/display issue, please check the following:

1. Be sure the CPU is supported by this motherboard, for CPU support list please go to the GIGABYTE website.

2. Check memory requirement and memory installation, be sure the memory is/are seated properly. You may test the board with a single stick to rule a single bad stick of memory.

3. Be sure the ATX 24-Pin and ATX 12V 4 or 8-Pin are plugged in firmly into the board.

4. Check for visible bent or broken pin(s) in the CPU itself (AMD CPU).

5. If you have an add-on video card installed, please check if the card requires additional powers 4, 6, or 8 Pin PCIE power.

6. Test the board on a non-conductive surface or test bench to rule out the grounding possibility.

7. Check monitor for video input selection, VGA, DVI, or HDMI.

8. Avoid using any video adapter or KVM switch.

9. Test with different video cable.

10. Clear the CMOS by taking out the CMOS battery from the battery socket, leave it out for 5 minutes and place it back after that (positive side faces up).
