5 out of 5 eggsWorks Totally Fine

Pros: Well all the specs are above so if you want to know that just look up there. Anyway, this is a great board, I think I got it for about 45 dollars and it's a steal. Really worth it.

Cons: Maybe an extra sata connector?

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Cheap

Cons: First board I got DOA, waiting for newegg to send me a second one.

Other Thoughts: New board came in today, will set up and hope it's not DOA as well

Manufacturer Response:

For no POST/display issue, please check the following:

1. Be sure the CPU is supported by this motherboard, for CPU support list please go to the GIGABYTE website.

2. Check memory requirement and memory installation, be sure the memory is/are seated properly. You may test the board with a single stick to rule a single bad stick of memory.

3. Be sure the ATX 24-Pin and ATX 12V 4 or 8-Pin are plugged in firmly into the board.

4. Check for visible bent or broken pin(s) in the CPU itself (AMD CPU).

5. If you have an add-on video card installed, please check if the card requires additional powers 4, 6, or 8 Pin PCIE power.

6. Test the board on a non-conductive surface or test bench to rule out the grounding possibility.

7. Check monitor for video input selection, VGA, DVI, or HDMI.

8. Avoid using any video adapter or KVM switch.

9. Test with different video cable.

10. Clear the CMOS by taking out the CMOS battery from the battery socket, leave it out for 5 minutes and place it back after that (positive side faces up).

3 out of 5 eggsBad Luck

Pros: Gigabyte! Always my #1 choice

Cons: had 2 DOA.

Other Thoughts: Still a big fan of gigabyte. They have always been my #1 choice for MB. Recently got two DOA of the same board.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: this motherboard is compact and seems to run well so far.

Cons: no heatsink on vrm's but not a con if you have ok air flow

Other Thoughts: I have this running with an a8 5600k and 8gb of 2133 ram, and using a cooler master vortex plus.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far So good

Pros: NOT DOA! Always a good sign, Can't do much do to not having memory to test it out, but it does receive power!

Cons: none really

Other Thoughts: This along with an A4-4000 are going into a budget update for a customer of mine, his older ACER tower is just to slow and underpowered for even running MINECRAFT

GIGABYTE GA-F2A55M-DS2

AMD A4-4000 3.2Ghz Dual core

No memory yet (Thanks UPS for your poor handling)

Cooler Master 460w PSU

ATI Radeon HD 5450 (previous upgrade which is now slower than the onboard graphics)...probably pull that one.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA From Newegg

Pros: None

Cons: This motherboard would not even POST upon arrival. I even tried a second power supply (1100W) and nothing. I purchased processor, RAM, and power supply along with this motherboard all to the specs this motherboard can handle. Just past the 30 day mark so I suppose I won't be able to RMA it. Going to have to try and contact Gigabyte. This is the first DOA board I have received from Newegg since I have been building PCs for the last 6 years.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed out of the box

Pros: None

Cons: Failed out of the box. Things were working great, had windows all installed and began installing other software, then random screen with lines/bars and after a reboot, nothing. No BIOS screen, no windows nothing.

Can't believe I have to pay to RMA this pile.

5 out of 5 eggsgood mobo

Pros: Works as advertised. Great features for price. No complaints. Even has DVI for this mobo. Really like Gigabytes drivers on their website, easy to find and navigate.

Cons: personally wanted more fan ports on mobo but for this size board I can't complain or take off egg. Second time installing OS had major driver issues with on board chipset and video but I think this was an OS issue, not the mobo itself.

Other Thoughts: running with AMD a4-5300, works slick and fast. currently 4gb ram and more on order. Running win server 2k8 sp2

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Awesome 3d Bios. Love it!
Strong board
Cheap price
Easy and awesome set up

Cons: Could use an HDMI on board for HTPC (what i used it for), but i knew that before i purchased it.
Maybe a 4 pin power connector instead of 8. Scared me at first, but you can just plug in your 4 for it to work depending on what else you are powering. Maybe 1 more fan connector.

Other Thoughts: I used this for a HTPC paired with an a4 apu 6 gigs of ram turned out to be an awesome little 250 computer, just throw in an HDMI. I mean, i even use Gigabyte's 990 fx for my 8 core and even that doesn't have a HDMI. I understand why it doesn't, but for some it could be useful.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid motherboard

Pros: Extremely tiny motherboard.
Everything necessary to a basic computer build.

Cons: No USB 3.0 (got a PCI-e card to use the USB3 connector on my case).
No SATA III (SATA II is more than enough for basic HDD usage, though SSD will suffer significantly more and hybrid drives will see slower speeds until they aren't running on the cache, not to mention 10k+ rpm drives).
Funky issues with APU (not sure if Linux or the mobo caused this, but the sensors for the AMD A6-6400k I threw in it definitely don't work right).

Other Thoughts: Was only worth it to me because of the combo deal I got it in, otherwise I would've picked up a Hudson D3 mobo for the same price. On the other hand, it's a really tiny motherboard and I've had 3x as many problems with the MSI motherboard I picked up for my phenom II x6 1045t build. For how reliable it has been, it was worth the extra to me, though I'm not sure if I would buy again unless in a combo.
