The GIGABYTE Z87X-OC Force Motherboard features an extreme heatsink design for the PWM area that allows users to employ both passive, active and water cooling setups. A hollow body heatsink, fitted with a silent integrated fan, ensures superb heat dissipation during extreme overclocking configurations.
GIGABYTE 8 Series motherboards integrate the best-quality solid state capacitors that are rated to perform at maximum efficiency for extended periods, even in extreme performance configurations. This provides peace of mind for end users who want to push their system hard, yet demand absolute reliability and stability. With ultra-low ESR — no matter how high the CPU loading — these capacitors come in customized jet black, exclusively on GIGABYTE 8 series motherboards. ("Rated for an unprecedented 10,000 hours of intensive operation at an incredible 105°C" – Nippon Chemi-Con)
GIGABYTE 8 series motherboards come equipped with gold-plated hardware for the areas where your motherboard has contact with other components; a gold-plated CPU socket, gold DDR3 slots, and PCI Express slots. Using a gold-plated CPU socket and slots means that enthusiasts are guaranteed absolute reliability and longevity for the CPU, memory and graphics cards, no matter how many times you switch them out.
GIGABYTE's new UEFI DualBIOS has a redesigned user interface that offers users the chance to take control of their BIOS environment like never before.
Dashboard Mode: GIGABYTE's exclusive Dashboard Mode puts you firmly in the driver's seat, allowing you to have complete access to all data related to your motherboard's key components — including CPU, graphics and memory clocks, temperatures, voltages and fan speeds.
Fully Customizable UI: You can create their own custom home page, adding the menus and options that you use most frequently. This creates a slick and optimized interface that can be further customized by adding your own background image.
Choose Your Own Landing Page: Choose exactly which section or page of the BIOS you want to land on after each reboot. If you are fine tuning your memory timings, you can save time with each reboot by landing on the DDR sub-timings page each time. Fewer clicks, better experience.
Real-time Overclocking: For the first time ever, overclockers can adjust the CPU clock, frequency and voltage settings in real-time within BIOS. This massively saves time, allowing users to find optimal settings without having to reboot.
A little disappointed ..
Pros: Watch the newegg unboxing video and read up on it. It has a lot of great features and cool toys for enthusiasts and overclockers.
Cons: 1- Coloring. The orange really clashes with everything, i wish they offered an all black version for people who don't want orange. I'd rather have no color at all then this orange. (I obviously knew this when I bought it, but I still think its something that could be addressed.)
Other Thoughts: Even though the GA-Z77X-UP7 has the same mounting holes, you cannot use a Z77 waterblock to replace the one the board came with. There are a few things that prevent it from seating properly. This is not really a pro or con, just thought i would throw it out there for anyone who was thinking of trying to replace the "waterblock" the board came with. (If you actually want to give it enough credit to call it that.)

Pros: multiple pci 3.0 @ x16, LOTS of fan headers on the board,
Cons: it's a bit pricey, but worth it....
Other Thoughts: the person complaining about the low speeds needs to look at the manual and see that he just has to FLIP A SWITCH ON THE BOARD....

Z87X-OC Force No so Good Yet!
Pros: Boots from USB
Cons: Will only Run at 800MHz
Other Thoughts: I can only hope Gigabyte or New Egg has some feedback but so far nothing.

Pros: Orange and Black
Cons: Price, I guess it is a premium product and you get what you pay for, but it is very expensive none the less.
Other Thoughts: You obviously don't have to use the watercooling, I just unplugged both the fans that the board comes with and I also don't use the watercooling. I have used the board for a while now with a 4.8ghz OC 24/7(delidded my CPU) and my VRM heatsink never gets hot. So straight up the watercooling barbs are un-needed and are just marketing, same with the fans.

Awesome GA-Z87X-OC Motherboard
Pros: Love all of the features you get on this Motherboard. Excellent cooling and very quiet even in Overclock mode.
Cons: Don't like the water cooling end of this Motherboard. I don't like water cooling my computer because when you think about a car's cooling system you have to replace the hoses eventually because they tend to get weak and start to leak. I didn't spend all of this money on this Motherboard for it to get ruined by water cooling it so hopefully it won't end up with any leak's. I like fan cooled motherboards because it's easier to replace a fan than it is to replace a hose and less expensive.
Other Thoughts: I feel this Motherboard would have been just as quiet without liquid cooling it. As long as they could have kept it with all of the features it has. Also would love to see Gigabyte make this Motherboard in a GA-990FXA-UD set up for all of the AMD fans out their. Without liquid Cooling though.
