5 out of 5 eggsAmazed.

Pros: This motherboard is amazing for the price. The BIOS or as Gigabyte calls its the Dual BIOS UEFI is simple very interactive and easy to overclock. Connections are labeled clearly and fast SATA III connections. The motherboard was easy to install in my Mid-Tower case.

Cons: There was one standoff screw at the top of the Motherboard above the RAM slots that was nearly impossible to screw in, Also it only includes 2 SATA cables which isn't great considering i have 4 HDDs and 2 SSDs. Also it is not Wi-Fi enabled which isn't a big deal for me but for some it is.

Other Thoughts: If your in the market for a good reliable motherboard with all the current bells and whistle's look no further! Great buy.

4 out of 5 eggswin7 was an install issue at first

Pros: Stealth looking design for my case, looks great. Will be easy to change color schemes if I ever choose to in the future with wiring / mods.

Cons: Not really a con for me since I knew what I was buying, but no on board video- so if you buy this know you need a GPU

4 out of 5 eggsGood board for the money

Pros: Many USB ports, No problems with FX 8320e CPU, Got LINUX working (eventually). Not excessively costly.

Cons: Hard to get Linux working; The NB and SB heat sinks are held on with springs. They could probably fall off if you're not careful. Wish AM3+ supported PCIe 3.0.

Other Thoughts: It was a little difficult to install Linux on this board, but a little googling and found that for Linux IOMMU must be enabled in the BIOS, and you have to pass the Kernel option IOMMU=pt, after that all worked fine. 8 cores of awesome. This replaced an older Gigabyte 770ta-UD3 with a Phenom II X4 945. Seeing about a 75% improvement in things. Transcodes faster than my i7-3770 w/R9-280 (but I don't think OpenCL is working right in Windoze/Handbrake).

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Budget Builds

Pros: Has done everything I wanted it too. It was pretty cheap, and does more than I could have ever wanted it to. Had no trouble getting this board to work, and I really like the BIOS setup. It's easy to navigate and configure however you want to.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con, so I didn't want to label this there, but to get into the BIOS setup, the time window to hit the F12 or DEL button (can't remember off the top of my head which one it is) is VERY short. Maybe my reaction time is just bad?

3 out of 5 eggsDecent for price range.

Pros: -Convenient hardware locations; unlike my previous ASUS motherboard, many of the connectors were in easy-to-manage locations.
-Lots of USB ports; for a gamer/professional computer, this supports many peripherals.
-Decent transfer speeds
-Easy to install; had no struggle putting this in the case.
-Easy-to-use BIOS; had no issue navigating the BIOS settings and setting up drivers.
-For the price range, it's very overclock-friendly; had my FX-9350 running @4.8 GHz after a week.

Cons: -One PS2 port, and no integrated graphics. I didn't mind, but I'm sure some people on a budget will.
-Limited fan headers; only 3? If it weren't for the fact my CPU cooler has additional SATA-powered headers, I'd be short many fans.
-My biggest complaint: VIA Audio. It took 2 days of tweaking BIOS settings, reinstalling audio drivers, and adjusting hardware just to get sound. And even now, it's terrible quality; if you can, get a sound card to go with it. VIA HD Audio will make you scream.
-On-board USB headers don't seem to work. Might be faulty hardware, though.
-NorthBridge runs hot.
-Though well-made, the BIOS is out of date.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a decent motherboard, for the price. But if you have any more money to spend on a motherboard, go with a decent ASRocks or ASUS motherboard, or a better GIGABYTE mobo. It's not terrible per se, but anyone with an eye on something even remotely professional or enthusiast would benefit from adding another $50 to upgrade from this. Not bad, but not great.

1 out of 5 eggsboard not working

Pros: It looks nice.

Cons: I want to get an ATX board to replace my tiny MSI board because I need more room. I always have good luck with Gigabyte, so this is a the first time that I got a non working board. After booting up, it trying to get into the bios but can't for some reason, every time I saw the top part of the bios, then the computer reboot, over and over again like that. I tried take out everything, reset the cmos, take out the battery, ect... no luck. So in the end I put back my MSI board and use that for now.

Other Thoughts: Should've test the board right after I got it, I waited so long passed the return date for newegg, now I gotta deal with gigabyte rma.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: I like that it has solid caps. Runs fine. The on board sound can be reconfigured so you have more than one speaker out or you can change the jacks to whatever you need. The heat seems normal to me. I'm not overclocking with it though. I like the feature that allows someone to charge a phone even with the pc turned off.

Cons: The screw holes on the board seem a little abnormal, I couldnt use the row of holes by the ram side of the board. Not sure if its because my case is old, but it is an atx case, so. Either way the board is mounted in there with 6 screws and seems to be fine.

Other Thoughts: Overall for the price I think the board is fine. Seems well built, didnt have any issues.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid board

Pros: Solid board, not post issues or power issues. Cooling seems to be fine on board.
Oc'd my FX6300 and tightened memory timings with no issues.

Cons: I hate the specific audio in this board, its drivers and everything about it. VIA audio makes everybody cry and it's the standard for some odd reason.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat board

Pros: great board, good heat sinks on the north and south bridges, and awesome color.

Cons: while it is not a 990fx board, the only difference is the number of pci-e slots for multi gnu crossfire/SLI.

not a con for me, but may be for those who really need the overkill effect.

Other Thoughts: memory controllers are identical to the more expensive boards, there may be a bios/overclock difference as well (not that this board doesn't have ALOT of over clocking features).

if you are not an enthusiast and just want to have a great system, this one is for you.

(enthusiasts generally buy the most expensive components with little regard to what they actually need, and as such are usually the fanboys in arguments)
