1 out of 5 eggsFailed after 8 months of use

Pros: Performed well while it was working
Bios is loaded with features
Board has no gaudy colors, looks good in my case
Good price for a dual GPU motherboard
Wide range of supported CPUs

Cons: Failed much too soon. I've never had a motherboard die on me before the 3 year mark. The heat sinks on the board do tend to get very hot while in use. I nearly burnt myself on one when I was removing my video card after it suddenly shutdown and refused to POST. Wasted many hours testing every component individually to try to get it working again. Even swapped in a new PSU, GPU, CPU, and ram but to no avail.

Other Thoughts: I regret not spending the extra money on a board with better reviews. When I purchased this it had the most features in it's price range but also a mediocre egg rating and some worrisome number of failures in the review section. But I couldn't resist a good deal.

4 out of 5 eggsLinux works, but only 32 bit

Pros: Have always like Gigabyte. Good looking board, good features.

Cons: New enough hardware that linux doesn't support this well enough yet. Ubuntu 14.04.1 32-bit works well. 64 bit had nic and usb2 power issues. FYI, 32 bit means you have to enable legacy boot instead of UEFI boot in the bios.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: This motherboard booted up on first try and didn't take much effort to configure. The BIOS is easy to navigate and I enjoy the fast boot time with a Corsair SSD w/Win8.1 on it. Sometimes my screen won't turn on fast enough to see the buttons to get into the BIOS or to change what to boot from since this motherboard goes through POST so fast.

Cons: None, it has all the headers, usb ports, BIOS tools and general functionality that I wanted from it.

Other Thoughts: I was getting a bit worried when I bought this because of all the bad reviews it was receiving. I don't know what other people are doing that causes such a high DOA rate amongst the reviews but it worked just fine for me. Before popping it in my computer, I simply set the processor, heatsink, and RAM in. Made sure I had the motherboard standoffs installed and there were no problems whatsoever.

My build:
This motherboard
AMD FX-6300
8gb 1600mhz G-Skill
ASUS gtx 780 dcu2 model
Corsair 120gb L-series SSD

4 out of 5 eggsGood motherboard for price

Pros: It's a good board for what you are paying. I like it's simplicity and so far everything is going pretty well on my computer. Haven't overclocked anything so I don't have an opinion on how good it would do there.

Cons: It's a pain to put all the parts together onto the motherboard. And my cooler covers up a few slots on my ram. AMD just needs to figure out how to design its board.

Other Thoughts: I love it, but it's also my first build. I think it was solid board, others might not.

5 out of 5 eggsA Perfectly Stable Board

Pros: In short, I have had no issues at all with this board, It's been running on one of my backup computers for over a year with 8GB of Corsair RAM. As one of four computers in my household, this one has shined the most in terms of stability.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It works quite reliably!

3 out of 5 eggsBad Product, Great Newegg!

Pros: There were no pros as this board was rubbish, but I contacted Newegg the same day that it arrived, telling them about what happened and they were very pleasant and gave me the option for a refund or a replacement board that same day. Thanks Newegg!

Cons: The board seemed ok on arrival was excited to plug her into my brand new build. Plugged it in aaaaaand it started smoking bad and unplugged and in one day my joy turned into fury as my brand new board smoked to death.

1 out of 5 eggsExtremely Disappointed

Pros: Worked great for 32 days.

Cons: Only worked for 32 days.

Other Thoughts: This motherboard just stopped working 32 days after purchase. I contacted the manufacturer and sent it in for RMA. Over three weeks later it was returned. It still didn't work. Returned it again and received a "new" board. Still will not work. I have tested each piece of my pc and they work. I have tested known working pieces in the motherboard and it will motherboard and it will not post. It can not be anything other than the board.

I have repeatedly attempted to contact the manufacturer again without reply. On the first two returns the staff was horrible. And now nothing. I would not recommend purchasing from this company. When you actually speak to a service, the service is absolutely horrible to deal with. Its a shame. I will not purchase another product from Gigabyte again.

5 out of 5 eggsFX-8350 can be overclock

Pros: This is my third review, the last review I gave this product a 1 star, because I thought like everyone else that the FX- 8350 could not be overclock. Well it can be overclock, mine its running at 4.4ghz stable at 4.5 GHz my system crashes, I do have a 500watt power supply that I think its the reason that I cant get pass 4.5 GHz. My apologize to Gigabyte, I will ask New egg to remove my last review.

Cons: North bridge does run hot mine get to 56 degrees Celsius under stress. Overclocking esytune6 software not really that great
