5 out of 5 eggsWorks well.

Pros: I needed a new MB as my old one for a Phenom II X6 (different brand) was slowly dying (spdif went out; analog audio was getting bad; SATA III was very slow). Wanted to go greener (HTPC) so I went with the FM2. Everything was well labeled on the MB; it worked right out of the box; the driver CD worked well. I have not OCed the processor or the gpu (no plans to do either). The board recognized my DDR3 as 1333 and not 1600; there was a preset for 1600 that was easy to find and implement; thinking very hard about OCing the memory further. No complaints.

Cons: This may be the same with any motherboard, but when plugging in the SATA and 24 pin power, support the board; there is nothing underneath to support while plugging in so the board flexes quite a bit.

Other Thoughts: If going FM2, this has been a good board so far.

1 out of 5 eggs100% Useless

Pros: It was cheap...

Cons: It never turned on or displayed anything on the monitor.

Other Thoughts: I was going to purchase a different motherboard of the same kind, but I went with this one. Shouldn't have done that.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great board! Everything mounted easily and had no problems!

Cons: Only thing I can think of is only two case fan inputs, but not worth losing an egg.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh...

Pros: Price is right, usb 3.0 built in, bios setup is pretty, and all connections feel solid.

Cons: No compatibility for the APU and usb 3.0 drivers in windows vista 64.

Other Thoughts: Gotta love it when the answer from gigabyte tech support is you have to spend more money on a different os. (They have xp drivers for this)

4 out of 5 eggsUpdate BIOS First

Pros: DDR3 2400 on APU
Easy to navigate BIOS
Looks like it has a connection for Serial or Parallel - I don't use them so no clue. Lots of USB3 and USB2

Cons: UEFI BIOS, I was trying to get the Ram to run at it's rated clocks and it kept crashing, some quick research indicated that bios version F6 increased the stability for XMP profiles. Loaded OS with it running at 1600mhz and promptly updated the bios. After that the profile seems to be stable.

Other Thoughts: It's a nice board with a great layout, do watch tall ram sticks in a mini mATX tower as it will probably cut access to your internal 3.5 bays. The case I had had a bottom gasket mount for a drive so I just used that

5 out of 5 eggsWhoohoo!

Pros: Pros: SATA III, USB 3.0, HDMI, HD Audio, cheap, good chipset, extensive BIOS features, PCI, 3 PCI-e slots, 4 memory slots....all work great.

She ran right out of the box and have not had a single Blue Screen.

Cons: Can't really think of any other than a small one, switching the front audio to AC'97 from HD is buried in the driver settings and under a very badly described setting (Check "Disable Front Audio Panel Detection"). It is documented in the manual at least. If you don't read/have the manual, you probably will never get your front audio panle on your case to work.

Other Thoughts: This MB has a discrete separate audio circuit (GOOD!). If you have a case that has a front panel that combines audio and another device like usb, most likely that panel uses a common ground (BAD!). If this is the case you may get a very annoying his/noise through the front headphone jack since the front panel is forcing the audio and USB circuits to have the same ground...making the discrete audio circuit of the motherboard worthless.

My solution was to pull out the little IC panel that holds all the front ports on my case and etch it on top and bottom to divide the audio circuit from the usb circuit. After I was done, the front panel is absolutely static/noise free. This is really not easy and I would not recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: 88x Chipset with Kaveri support out of the box..
No BIOS update required.
Extra thick.. Seems pretty sturdy..
4 RAM slots on a micro ATX board is pretty awesome..

Cons: Could've went with the 78X chipset since I don't plan on using more than one discrete GPU in this build.
I didn't find that out until after I bought the thing. However, there isn't much of a price difference between the two chipsets so... Really not much of a con. And definitely not a con for the board.. The board is great! I'm just giving you an idea of how dumb I am.. :)

Other Thoughts: Only has two case fan connectors on board..
So when you are looking at a case, be sure if you have more than two fans that the remaining ones have a pass through.. Otherwise, you could be in for a headache. Wasn't a problem for me.. Just something I noticed.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks for me just fine.

Pros: Don't be fooled by the low price. It is a good motherboard for the money.
I purchased this MB as part of a combo with an AMD A10-7850k and 8GB of G.Skill sniper 2133Mhz Ram. As the price for these three items fell below $300, it became too difficult to pass up.
Assembly was pretty easy (except when I seated the CPU), and the computer posted the first time I pressed the power button. I didn't need to use another CPU to update BIOS. Apparently this MB will work if it has the F4 BIOS version or newer.
The layout of the motherboard seemed pretty logical, as the headers for the Front I/O port and SATA cables made it easy for good cable management. I had no trouble installing the RAM after installing a Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus. The board is also pretty thick, which makes it less stressful when mounting the MB to the case. There is little to no flex in the board, and will likely hold a large discrete graphics card just fine.
This board also seems to overclock the CPU well. I currently run the CPU's four logic processors at 4.0 Ghz, and the eight graphics processors at 900Mhz. I'm sure I could overclock the system a bit more, but I don't need to since I only do light gaming. It runs pretty cool, quiet, and stable at 30 degrees Celsius, more or less, and I want to keep it that way.

Cons: As others have stated, there isn't a whole lot of bells and whistles on this motherboard, but if you're looking for that, look for a full atx motherboard that has them.
There is only one HDMI output, along with one DVI and one D-Sub output. If you have three monitors that have one of each, you're in luck, but then again, you might as well buy a discrete graphics card if you're going to use that setup.
There are two USB 3.0 ports, as well as four USB 2.0 ports on the back. That could be a problem if you have a boatload of peripheral devices. But for the average budget-builder, that shouldn't be a problem at all.
The BIOS is feature-rich, but a bit confusing. It also is a bit sluggish if you use the mouse to navigate through it. Other manufacturers seem to build more streamlined BIOS for their motherboards. It takes a little getting-used-to, but works just fine.
For some reason, I cannot charge my iphone off of the USB 3.0 ports. I probably have a problem with the drivers, and need to find an updated version. When I do, I'll write another review.

Other Thoughts: Some people have complained about there being no heat spreaders or pipes for the MOFSETS on this board. I don't see this as a problem because I don't need to push my computer too hard.
For those of you who have a hard time getting the MB to recognize faster RAM memory, go to advanced frequency settings in your BIOS. Look for Extreme Memory Profile and set the configuration to Profile 1. My MB did not recognize the 2133Mhz until I set it it up that way. So try that out first before posting hate messages online. You might be pleasantly surprised.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board for the Price

Pros: Easy to install, BIOS is incredibly easy to navigate and use, plenty of ports for a budget home build, and a fantastic price for this kind of motherboard.

Cons: None that I have encountered.

Other Thoughts: I bought this thinking I might not be spending enough to get a quality board, but I was mistaken. the board works perfectly, and supports the 2133 GSkill sniper ram I bought as well, so that's a plus.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA out of the box

Pros: None yet, DOA out of the box

Cons: I have been building desktop computers for 12 years now and this is the first DOA. I have use MSI, ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards and this is the first one DOA out of the box. Reading the other reviews I think it is a problem with the A10 processor and the board bios. I would like to have my confidence in Gigabyte restored. We will see.
