4 out of 5 eggsNice but Bios could be better

Pros: Good board with a lot of options for plugging things in and just overall nice board. I also enjoy the slight illumination that is on the board although some probably won't.

Cons: The Bios UI is a bit confusing especially if you are new to Overclocking. The included software does help with OC if you want to go that route, but at the extreme OC I think it may set the CPU Voltage up a bit much from what I have read.

5 out of 5 eggsBest motherboard I've bought yet for my needs

Pros: I was weary at first by other people reviews, think they just got a bad batch.
I have had absolutely no issues with sounds bleeding through to my speakers and headset. you have to setup your audio for default depending what is your primary jack.
I use all my audio channels, if you buy this board you def will not need a sound card, one of many reasons why i bought it.

Cons: No cons for me.

Other Thoughts: I got the version 1.0 board and already had the F6 bios installed.
The bios can be intimidating when first booting up, Don't let it, its actually very easy to navigate. I think all the functions and colors is what detours people in the bios.

4 out of 5 eggsLooks at a price.

Pros: I love the red color or my build and it is a very capable motherboard. Has a red led line down along the pci slots on the side. It looks great.

Cons: not everyone needs this. I spend more on a motherboard because i want the looks but for most people a cheaper motherboard may make more sense if you aren't as worried about the looks.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because i loved the design but more most is would make sense for you to get a simpler motherboard that can do everything this can.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, in most ways

Pros: Great motherboard. Things installed easily, efficiently and the layout is great. Work with all my gear and still room for expansion. Everything seemed sturdy, in-place and the addition of the BIOS boot-button and error display is a good kick for trouble-shooting.

Cons: There's a constant 'noise' from any audio-jack whenever the computer is processing at any rate above an average of 5-7%. The heavier the process, the louder the 'ringing' is and its rather annoying. Sound is coming through almost too loud as well, I had to turn down my system to 10% or below to keep it at moderate levels, and even with the system down to that, other programs don't abide by it? Started up a game to check the temperatures and the sound was catastrophic; clipping, no regards to the previous volume controls I had set before launch. Not quite sure what to think of it, but I've only seen one other person review about the 'noise' as there aren't many writings on this product.

Other Thoughts: Two out of 17(current reviews thus far) is a high percentage for this sound issue, I'd shoot for a better quality motherboard from Gigabyte that'll cost a bit more, but hopefully you'll steer clear of this and avoid losing your hearing.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome board for the price!!

Pros: Using this board to build my son's gaming PC and we loved the features versus the pricing on this board. Plenty of expansion for later add on hardware. We will updated this review once we have the PC completed and tested.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsIt works!

Pros: Looks good and fits in my HAF 912 without any issues.

Came with 4 Sata cables, 2 straight and 2 at right angle

Nice Bios screen with easy navigation.

Cons: Wasn't delivered with cookies, I love cookies.

Other Thoughts: I'm not the most experienced computer builder (only built 2) but this MB fit my HAF 912 and worked right out of the box. Also comes with the Killer network which seems to work nicely.

5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied Customer

Pros: It works as advertised, BIOS is extremely smooth and tons of help for overclocking. The including app center is also very useful. Been using this board for SLI cards and havn't had any problems.

Cons: Its's not exactly the cheapest board on the market.

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD BUY

Pros: Fired wright up on a 4690K Price 155$ plus free ship order at 10:00am Tues. got on Fri at 11 am. Running by 12:30 W8.1 it was on sale only reason for 8.1. 2133 ram I'll wait a week or more before the O.C. The colors go with my MSI 970 plus I have a red light 4 pipe cooler. I have 3-4-5-6-7 year old GIG M.B. that are still working. I did a AMD 6 core a few what a JOKE it runs but not a Good Gamer CPU bogs down. Why this INTEL they don't Bog.

Cons: For the Price NONE Free Ship and color matches Ram plus V.C.

Other Thoughts: My only complaint is there are 4 fan headers but 2 are at the very bottom and 2 are for CPU. a back up.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard, Software Not So Much

Pros: This board fired right up with no problems running Windows 8.1 and an Intel Core i7-4790K at 4GHz. The EasyTune software was automatically able to overclock to 4.8GHz. The onboard 7-segment displays are great for identifying progress through the POST and boot up. Board is very sturdy and looks nice in a windowed case.

Cons: The heatsink on the PCH is a little flimsy and feels like it may fall off at some time. It seems it may also make the PCH run a little warmer than other components on the board. The AppCenter software really needs some more work. Every time I boot up it tells me there is a new version ready to be installed and when I click on the OK button to install the alleged new software it doesn't do anything. There are four system fan headers on the motherboard but the System Information Viewer software shows only three. Last week the System Information Viewer stopped showing the live status of the voltage, temperature and fan speed.

Other Thoughts: System configuration is
Intel Core i7-4790K Haswell Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150
Noctua NH-U12P SE2 120mm SSO CPU Cooler
CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V
ASUS 24X DVD Burner
Corsair Vengeance (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin SDRAM DDR3 1600
Samsung 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW 250GB Sata 6Gbs SSD
WD10EZRX 1TB SATA 6Gbs 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (2)
Corsair Carbide 300R Windowed ATX Mid Tower Case

5 out of 5 eggsGaming 7

Pros: Easy to overclock
Lots of SATA ports
M.2/Sata express support
On board power switch
Excleent on board audio
Gigabyte quality

Cons: Sys Fan 2, 3, and 4 headers all at the bottom of the board
Front audio header is a stretch for the front panel audio cable
As noted by others, heat sinks seem flimsy

Other Thoughts: I have a six-year-old Gigabyte EP45-UD3H board that is still running strong, but just felt the need to upgrade. The Gaming 7 and the UD5H are very similar - I got a better deal on the Gaming 7 and the soundblaster audio put it over the top. The UDH5 does appear to have better heat sinks and has an intel lan port in addition to killer.

Hooked up an i5 4690K, an SSD, 3 hard drives in raid 0, 3TB backup drive, gtx770, and 8GB 1866 ram - booted right up and has run smoothly with no issues.
