Pros: Good layout and features for the price

Cons: Board is unstable and now basically an expensive paper weight. After replacing all components in the system for testing (GPU, RAM, Power supply, AND CPU) and disabling sound the board will still randomly lock up and then will not post. Only fix for this is to leave it sit for a few hours and try again later. After weeks of working with tech support and sending the board for RMA and it is still the same issue. (Gigabyte RMA report says no trouble found) I can run the board for several hours without issue at times and I admit the problem is very random so unless they ran the board for at least 8 hours straight they were not going to find anything). Not sure how support/RMA teams can still claim the board is fine after having me perform weeks of testing with ALL other hardware has been replaced with known good hardware yield the same result as long as this board was in the mix.

Other Thoughts: I have built countless machines for myself and friends/co-workers with Gigabyte boards and it is really disappointing to have had this horrible of an experience with this board. I need boards that work correctly and if there is a problem a support/rma team that will look at the testing and realize this board needs to be replaced regardless of the fact that it worked for 5 minutes on the rma teams test bench. One board has switched me from an "always use Gigabyte" to an "anyone but Gigabyte" system builder which is a shame.

Pros: NONE

Cons: I can't get into bios. clear cmos, took out coin bat, still nothing. no good motherboard. i should buy @sus....... no more gigabyte mobo............

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well so far

Pros: I got this board because I like gigabyte products and I needed something that is mid level. Everything is working fine on it so far I haven't had any issues. It has 3 fan headers plus the cpu fan header and a cpu opt. (which is great if you have a liquid cooler like me). It also has a red LED strip that segregates the integrated sound from the rest of the board, which I admit looks pretty friggin sweet. I would recommend this board to anybody that wanted something with extra room for improvements but at a decent price.

TL;DR It's a good, no-nonsense gaming board.

Other Thoughts: won't recognize multiple keyboards. Opened a service ticket with gigabyte, let's see what they say
