Cons: Died after 6 months. Gigabyte RMA process is a pure nightmare, almost a week just to have an RMA number, 5 weeks from when they received it to when they shipped it back. When I finally received the motherboard from RMA (it's been almost 2 months), it's DOA, they didn't fix it! Will never buy Gigabyte again. They might have a low failure rate according to google, but, when it does fail, it's such a nightmare, you might as well just buy another brand new motherboard.

Other Thoughts: RMA process is even worse than Asus.

Pros: Works great out of the box. Upgrade to E2200 CPU & MOBO. Swapped this & new G3258 & 8GB new RAM into existing case & 600W PSU.
New install of Ubuntu 14.04 on SSD, kept my /home on existing WD 160GB. Everything up & running in less than 1 hour. I dont OC. Easiest build yet.

Cons: Dead after 1 month. No warning, no issues at all until tried to turn on in morning. No monitor, no sys fan. All other lights work, HDD accessing, etc.

UPDATE: Finally traced problem to 1 bad stick of Corsair RAM. Found it with memtest 86. Unfortunately I had already shipped this MOBO back. I changed 3 eggs back to 5 eggs because of the ease of setup.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because of previous review using Ubuntu. Had no install issues at all, so that part was fantastic.
I checked the Monitor/PSU/Vid Card on other working PC's, it's not any of those. It was a good month till it died.

Pros: Adequate basic mother board. Does what its supposed to do.

Cons: The tricky little problem is this: boot order is determined by physical SATA port selection, and the SATA ports aren't numbered on the PCB or in the manual. If the HDD is plugged into a SATA port with a higher number than the one into which the optical drive is connected, it won't boot. Changing setup doesn't solve the problem. Turns out that the HDD should be connected to SATA2, which is top left (toward the black block--SATA1?), Plug the optical into SATA5--top right. The default boot order--low SATA first--then works correctly every time. Took me 2 hours to finally figure this out.

Other Thoughts: As usual, the manual's nigh-unto useless.

Pros: Everything went well. Bios is basic and solid. Booted right up. Clean board, straight. No fancy stuff just a basic rock solid board. I didn't have any issues with reboots like others are saying. Bios is latest.

Cons: The socket was a little to far from the I/O for my cooler in the case I have. Totally reasonable. I just could not install the DVD drive. Its a small HTPC case. Silverstone GD05

Other Thoughts: I just needed to a Micro ATX Intel board for an i3 for my HTPC. Sleep wasn't working well on my AMD board and I need it too. Really happy with this board

Pros: Easy install, Good features. Decent documentation.

Cons: When breadboarded it would reset after 3 seconds, then power back on, and repeat. Hadn't even set it into the case. Since it was my first build, I took it to a shop to verify function,and was told it was defective. I expected some part of my build to fail but was hoping it would be something else.

Other Thoughts: Now i get to see how the RMA process is. Will re-review after I get my new one.

Pros: Everything, very nice and easy to handle and use.

Cons: Just like many other reviews, everything seems to work fine, but every 5-10 minutes or after trying to download any drivers or trying to surf the web it will randomly freeze and reboot. The hdd led will turn off, but the actual computer and all the fans will continue to run, and then it will just restart. I am very disappointed with this product so far.

Pros: None

Cons: The Specs on this said that it supports LGA 1150 Pentium processors. It did not support a G3259 processor. Tech support at Gigabyte says that it only supported the processor after a certain bios version. Since I can't boot the mortherboard, I can't update the bios either. Now I have to decide whether to buy a new motherboard or a new processor. Difficult because I can't count on the motherboard to support what it says it will.

Cons: I haven't been able to get it to work. All I get is a series of fast beeps. I would normally consider that to be either a power or memory problem. Have switched power supplies and memory modules, with not change. Removed the motherboard from the case and tried all of this again with only the power and monitor connected. No change. Left a request for help on the motherboard's web site. Haven't heard anything from them yet. All parts are new. Guess I'll have to find some other motherboard before I'll have my PC built.

Other Thoughts: If there's any tech support, they're too busy to help me.
