4 out of 5 eggsCorsair H100i fit

Pros: Even with the small size it can fit anything you want onto it. Easy to use even if you have little experience.

Cons: Nothing bad to say about it, didn't run into anything major to complain about.

Other Thoughts: If you are planning to use an h100i to cool your cpu note that mounting it so the tubing is nearest to the backplate will result in the wifi chip blocking the tubing coming out of the radiator. I had the corsair 250d and rotated the radiator so the tubes where close to the front of the case resulted in removing the front fan as that blocked it too, but doing this hasn't created any temperature issues at all. I read someone oriented the fans to pull through the radiator and that fixed the issue with the wifi chip.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the money

Pros: This motherboard is well laid out and STABLE. No unnecessary voltage fluctuations or clock speed changes (looking at you ASRock), and it's easy to find your way around the UEFI. The dark tones across the PCB and connectors is also very welcome.

Cons: Didn't come with free pizza.

Other Thoughts: I really appreciated that at least a couple SATA connectors were towards the back of the motherboard, and everything was nicely spaced out. The manual was also easy to follow and well sectioned.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problems

Pros: No problems so far. Board is fully compatible with Linux including the wireless card.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Paired this with an i3 4370 for a HTPC for some lite gaming. I know overkill. No problems at all installing Linux on it. Very pleased. As always Newegg is awesome.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed board. Failed RMA service

Pros: Works for a few months

Avoid Gigabyte AT ALL COST! See explanation below.

Cons: Installed in a PC for normal office duties. After a few weeks, refused to turn on when USB devices were plugged in. Then a few weeks after that, only boots to a empty screen with title "Gigabyte UEFI DualBios". Then "m Bios corrupt" message pops up after clearing CMOS.

Very common problem with Gigabyte motherboards, according to Google.

Tried to RMA through GIgabyte. But they refuse to pay for shipping even though 1. the board is still under warranty and 2. the board is defective through faults in their manufacturing.

So the total cost of this motherboard = initial cost to buy + initial shipping + cost to recover data after failure + cost to ship to RMA

Any company that refuse to take responsibility of any costs involved to fix their own defective products should be avoided. Just imagine if Honda ask their customers to fix the airbag problems themselves.

Dear Customer,

Customer is responsible for 1 way shipping.
You can provide an invoice for review, but you may still be responsible for 1 way shipping.

Thank you"

By the way, I emailed back with a copy of the invoice but have not heard from Gigabyte in over a week.

3 out of 5 eggsHas compatible issue

Pros: Beautiful board. Components look of high quality.

Cons: Probably some offset in the screw holes? This board and its panel shield were really hard to install.
Has compatible issue with ASUS GTX 660 card. Freeze the system in minutes after booting to system (win7 and win8). I spent so much time trying to solve the problem with no result.
I changed to a Nvidia reference card and the problem is gone. I finally replace the mb with an ASRock H97 mini-ITX, and now I am able to use the ASUS card again.

Other Thoughts: The boot to UEFI time is really long compared with other brands' motherboards. Very annoying when one got used to the fast boot time of SSD systems.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't last

Pros: Works for a few months.

Cons: Refused to turn on when USB devices were plugged in. Then a few weeks after that, only boots to a empty screen with title "Gigabyte UEFI DualBios". Then "m Bios corrupt" message pops up after clearing CMOS.

Very common problem with Gigabyte motherboards, according to Google.

Other Thoughts: Trying to RMA now.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA after a couple weeks

Pros: Small board, lots of great features, WiFi ac.

Cons: Dead after a couple weeks use. Using all brand-new parts and coupled this Motherboard with a core i5 4690 CPU, GTX 970 and a Silverstone 600w gold certified PSU.

Other Thoughts: Board should not die this fast. Nothing was overclocked and I threw a new surge protector on this setup to prevent electrical damage. Have built many machines and I was disappointed with this Gigabyte board and am still waiting for a response. Should have stuck with my gut after reading some reviews and poor service.

5 out of 5 eggsRunning great for 6 months

Pros: Great little motherboard. I've had none of the issues others speak of with memory or usb 3.0 (knock on wood). Stable and reliable over the last 6 months of use.

Cons: Only 2 fan headers (one being cpu)

Wish Gigabyte would offer something similar to Asus for the front panel connectors, especially for an ITX build it can be hard to get your fingers in there.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Mini ITX

Pros: Dual LAN
Onboard WiFi
Analog 5.1 connections
4 usb 3.0

Cons: Onboard video wastes board space
Only 2 memory slots

Other Thoughts: Built a Mini ITX gaming box for LAN parties. This board minimized how much space is wasted with onboard video. Extra space is used to provide analog 5.1 connections, great for 5.1 headsets, and plenty of usb ports for your peripherals. Onboard WiFi is a nice addition, however I haven't needed to use it yet.
