1 out of 5 eggsTerrible product support

Pros: Seemed like a good price point for the features

Cons: Absolutely terrible product support.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a new PC build. The motherboard was DOA - no signs of life whatsoever. I called Gigabyte, who explained that I have to mail the product to them, at which time they will try to repair it. Turnaround could take up to two weeks. They took my E-Mail address and told me they would send instructions. Five days later, still no E-Mail. I'm looking at at least 3 weeks to finish this project. Really, a manufacturer who ships a defective product should just replace it. If they want the original part back, fine, but asking customers to spend three weeks of their time, make multiple phone calls, and pay for their own shipping (with insurance) is ridiculous. It doesn't matter how good the product and price are, I will never buy anything from these clowns again if this is what I have to go through to get a working part.

5 out of 5 eggsYay GIGABYTE!

Pros: Worked out of the box perfectly with no problems. Works great with my i5 4460 and GTX 970! Also has some sweet red LED'S on the board that I didn't know were on the board.

Cons: AMD crossfire only which is only a problem if you plan on SLI but its not a problem. Also had to set my RAM from 1333mhz to 1600mhz but that is only a minor con.

5 out of 5 eggsWell done!

Pros: It was tough finding video reviews of this motherboard so I was a bit unsure. This is my first gaming build. Motherboard works great. I used an intel i5 processor, works great.I went for the 3 year warranty cause why not. Good deal for not too much money. I put it in a full case, looks and works great!

Cons: None so far!

1 out of 5 eggsIf it worked....

Pros: Good specifications, decent layout

Cons: DOA, DOA, DOA. Yes, that is 3 DOA's.

First, it was DOA coming from Newegg. I made the mistake of RMA'ing it to Gigabyte (they requested, saying it was likely they just needed to flash the firmware as I am using a newer Haswell). Upon arrival they said it had bent pins, they fixed that and sent it back (without flashing the firmware or testing).

DOA again. This time they paid for me to ship it to them and said they would replace it. Upon arrival they claimed it was damaged and would not replace it. They said they fixed the damage, flashed the BIOS, tested it, and sent it back.

Again, DOA.

Gigabyte is now asking me to send the board back to them for a 3rd time - at my expense. I have used 3 processors, 2 power supplies, and 4 sticks of RAM. I have confirmed that these other components work in other computers. Funny how this board is constantly broken but I've never had that problem before in several years of building computers.

Other Thoughts: Don't RMA to Gigabyte. They tend to make excellent products (I've used them for years), but lemons do occur, and it seems I got one. For what I am paying with shipping, I could have gotten a much better board. Not only that, but I wouldn't be without a computer for so long.

5 out of 5 eggsForgot to mention on last review...

Pros: Had to set my 1600MHz ram manually to 1600 from 1333. Not an issue, but may want to double check your settings to make sure you're running at full speed!

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat motherboard, lots of features

Pros: Simple to setup, lots of options in the bios if you like tweaking. Ultra Fast Boot mode boots the computer ridiculously fast, especially with a SSD. I purchased three of these boards for new builds and didn't have a single issue with any of them. There are a few fan headers that are placed in perfect spots for rear and front fans too, so no cable stretching. Would buy again!

Also the gigabyte app (see below) is actually pretty nice. It has a "live update" built in that will download the latest drivers for the motherboard (chipset, lan, audio, onboard vid, usb 3.0, etc)

Cons: Not really a con, but if you enable "ultra fast boot" mode, you will need to install the Gigabyte Fast Boot application to get back into the bios.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Easy to install. Great price. The cost and quality rates it higher than a budget card. Miss Robert W. bad review is sad. She burned up 2 cards because of lack of knowledge.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Good deal..

5 out of 5 eggsGI Sniper Mainboard

Pros: This is a seriously solid board, thick, and was easy to install. I was very pleased by the high-quality components on it. Originally I had in mind to purchase an ASUS board, but after reading the reviews on this one, I figured it was a better purchase. Absolutely love the UEFI BIOS setup!

Cons: None, really.

Other Thoughts: I was surprised by the red light coming from the back of the board; I first thought that something was wrong with it! But it's pretty cool. This is my first gaming board, and even though I'm not a gamer, I'm glad it has some nice features
