4 out of 5 eggsAcceptable.

Pros: Had it for 2 weeks. Looks nice. Like the orange LEDS (didn't think i would). WiFI working great.

Cons: the USB front header from the case could not fit into the socket on the motherboard. I pushed way too hard and it would not go in. I resorted to getting a knife and shaving the male plug. After shaving the plug, it went in and is staying in. However, the fit did not go in snug enough that I feel 100% comfortable. But the front USB3 is working now and I have not had a problem with it. Not sure if the issue was the mother board socket or the Case's male end.

Other Thoughts: I really like the LED, which is surprising because I generally think LEDs are childish looking. Perhaps I like it because it is subtle, a dark orange that is not overly intrusive.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat board.... for horizontal mounts

Pros: Great features, great color schemes, nice LED's on the bottom of the boards, built-in wifi and bluetooth work great. A perfect board for a casual build or a HTPC build where you can lay the board flat in the case.

Cons: Like some of the other comments mentioned, the front panel connectors are on the top of the board, right next to the CPU power and fan headers.
If you do happen to put it in a tower case, you might need to hook up all the connectors before dropping the board in. Even then it might be a hassle to put the screw in.
If you do plan to use a after market cooler, you have to install it at last.

Other Thoughts: no VGA ports. but who still uses VGA anyways..

2 out of 5 eggsNice board, unfortunately flawed bios

Pros: Awesome color combo for a mini itx board. And the leds on the bottom of the board is a very nice touch.

Cons: The bios has flaws. For one I updated the bios to the most current on on gigabytes site. Flash went good then they recommend you "load optimized defaults" so ok. Well every time you do that 2 of the sata ports disappear and the board sets my vcore to 1.6v! Um haswell with 1.6v...... No. So I flashed again and bam. Same issue. So definitely a bios issue.

Other Thoughts: If the bios gets fixed then this will be a great board! As of now I can't use it because I don't want my cpu to have 1.6v through it.

3 out of 5 eggsPoor Front Panel Placement

Pros: mSATA

Cons: Curious what idiot engineer thought it would be a good idea to put the front panel connector on the 'far end' of the motherboard near the cpu fan connector. Back to ASUS, won't buy Gigabyte again. Also no sticker.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost perfect

Pros: - Haswell Support
- FAST FAST FAST Wireless
- Plenty of SATA ports
- Backplane has mounts for wireless antennas
- No shortage on USB ports
- LEDs on bottom of the board

Cons: Cannot for the life of me get it to boot to Windows 8.1 Installer on a EFI compatible flash drive. I had to plug in my USB DVD Drive to install Windows.

Other Thoughts: Great motherboard, other than the boot issue with EFI Flash Drives, I have absolutely no other complaints. UEFI has tons of options, and was able to easily clock up my memory as it was only recognized as 1333MHz and it is 1600MHz RAM. Overclocking options are ridiculous as long as you have a K processor. I'm not interested in overclocking but it makes it a winner to people who it matters to. About the USB boot issue. I tried to change every option known for USB in the UEFI menu and could not get it to recognize it was a bootable disk. I have a custom modified copy of Windows 8.1 I use to image computers and it refused. I have to spend more time to install Windows 8, update it to 8.1 and then customize the OS. Not cool. Be aware, you may need an external or internal DVD drive to install an OS.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great as a portable Workstation.

Pros: This thing fits the bill for my new portable Workstation projects.

Cons: Can not come up with any.

Other Thoughts: I am using these stuck behind a 24" monitor in a VESA mount case. They are working out great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a great motherboard. The built in WiFi works wonderfully, and the antenna has great reception. The board itself feels very durable, and all the PC components installed without a fuss. All of the connectors are well positioned in my opinion.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: FYI the antenna has a nifty little magnetic base and it folds flat for storage.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad build

Pros: Used to build an OS X box. Worked fairly well oob. Just had to replace the intel wifi card.

Good color scheme.

Has enough connections for robust mITX build

Cons: HDMI power output seems to be lacking. It works with 3-6ft length hdmi cables but not on 25ft cable. Tried multiple verified working hdmi 25ft cables on this mobo hdmi output and no luck. Not a major downside but took away an egg rating bc this messes up my overall form factor for placement of this build in a room. This is a 2014 build and it doesn't support that distance!?

5 out of 5 eggsThe Little Motherboard That Could

Pros: - It works.
- Not exorbitantly priced.
- Built-in wifi adapter has optional external antenna hookup.
- Pleasant color scheme.
- Orange-colored LEDs line the underside of the board. They can pulse (or remain lit solid), have adjustable brightness (100% or 50%), or be turned off entirely.

Cons: - Only two fan headers (one CPU fan header and one system fan header).

Other Thoughts: - Fan headers, where art thou? For a CLC which consumes both the CPU header and a system fan header (the Corsair H60, for instance), consider buying a splitter, or even a fan controller. Really not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have one extra system fan header.

- The wifi adapter functions without an external antenna. The board comes bundled with a fairly high quality external antenna with a magnetic base, which is a nice gesture for those who need the extra range.

- My life is bland enough, so it's nice to find a motherboard that has a little color on it (other than blue, or black, or whatever shade of brown ASUS is feeling like this month).

- The LEDs are only on the bottom of the motherboard, which creates a subtle underglow effect. My build was in a Corsair 250D, and the LEDs shine through the mesh siding; I disabled them in the BIOS.

- Drivers: Put the included disc in the drive, install the network adapter driver, remove the disc from the drive, then remove that optical drive from your crowded mITX case and download the rest of the drivers from Gigabyte's website.

- Purchased/shipped from NewEgg. Box wasn't crushed. Even if it was, that's probably because the delivery guy sat on it, which isn't NewEgg's fault.

I took a little bit to think about more cons, but nothing came to mind.

This board is solid, and has given me no trouble; at least in the week or so after building. Nice job to the folks at Gigabyte.
