1 out of 5 eggsProblematic

Pros: SLI ? for whatever thats worth

Cons: This board gave me problems from day 1. Glad it is no longer being sold or supported. Failed on me after the warranty expired ... on and off it boots sometimes and most days not at all. It wont even post as of now.

Other Thoughts: Glad its dead. No more suffering.

2 out of 5 eggsI should have researched this better

Pros: Relatively inexpensive, easy to assemble

Cons: Doesn't overclock well at all.

Other Thoughts: When my MSI P6N SLI motherboard died (Northbridge heatsink fell off and chip burned out), I hurriedly purchased the P7N SLI, thinking it would be similar to the P6N which was no longer available. With the P6N, I was running my Conroe E6750 (2.66GHz) @ 3.3GHz and it was very stable. With the same CPU & RAM, but now the P7N, I can't get above 2.8GHz without it crashing. While the board is fine, don't get this if you want to overclock.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Came with screws.

Cons: Everything about this board is junk. The layout, the connectors felt flimsy. SATA ports were a nightmare to get to. Wouldn't boott to my OS after saving and exiting the BIOS, would have to hit the reset switch then power back up. I knew it was hit or miss with this board...looks like I struck out. Got an Asus P5N-D as a replacement and couldn't be happier.

Other Thoughts: Kudos for New Egg on the ease of getting my RMA. You guys are the best. MSI..not so much.

1 out of 5 eggsNewegg and MSI = Bad customer service

Pros: It would be great with triple SLI, a heating separator, and multiple options, if it worked.

Cons: Got it DOA. Then sent it back into MSI with an RMA. They sent it back saying it was swapped and I'm still having this inappropriate CPU power 8 pin problem. When ya try to give it power to the CPU with the power supply it shuts everything down. I'm going to buy another motherboard (not MSI), and get that one fixed and re-sell it.

Other Thoughts: MSI doesn't seem to have any MOD's when you call their technical support and just tell you to fill out an RMA.

1 out of 5 eggsI hate newegg

Pros: NONE

Cons: I bought the open box version.
BAD IDEA.
in the box was A DIFFERENT MOTHERBOARD.
they sent me a 650i sli, that didnt even work.

I RMA'd it, thinking newegg would replace it for the right board.
WRONG.
They said it wasn't the right motherboard in the box.
So they shipped it back to me.
Now I'm stuck with a motherboard that i can't use, that I was forced to pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard Loaded with Features Rock Solid

Pros: With the Mail-in-Rebate it's a really good deal, supports SLI and hybrid SLI, 3 PCI-E 2.0 16x slots(1@16x, 2@8x), 45nm processor support, Passive Heat Pipes, DDR2 800 standard, HD Audio, Solid CAPS, Overclocks well. What more could you want?

Cons: I really have none, looks nice, works better than it looks all for $100.

Other Thoughts: For one of the cheaper 750i SLI Motherboards out there, this one does the job quite well.

5 out of 5 eggsare you kidding?

Pros: I have 2 of these running in my kids core 2 duo systems flawless for 1 year. Both open box. If you can't make these work then you are in trouble. Perfect for a mid tower setup. Using Raidmax Smildon and Sagitta cases. Using artic freezer pro heatsinks. Using OCZ cas 4 ddr 800 ram. GTX 200 & 8800 series cards.

Cons: Audio connector for ide cd rom blocks 200 series cards. Bend slightly to side and use a sata drive instead. Who needs ide anymore? Use most current nvidia drivers and flash the bios if you want to use a 1 TB drive.

Other Thoughts: For a budget rig you can get an E8500, 8 gbs patriot ram, and a caviar black to do some damage followed by a nice Corsair PSU, and a GTX 275. We have 2 of these and 2 evga 790 ultra boards and one of the ultras is already rma matierial and was $179. I7 are very expensive for the few fps you get. A fast e8500/e8600 will outrun them in most games.
