Keeps a Northwood running

Pros: Zero problems with Hardy. ddr2, SATA, and PCIe give my old Northwood a second wind.

Cons: No official BIOS update.

Good Value, Works well

Pros: A good motherboard to reuse a high-end P4 processor.
Much faster than my other/older P4 systems.

Cons: Read the Supported CPU List!
Older 433Mhz FSB processors are not supported at all.
Northwood and Prescott work just fine.

Must have a PS/2 Keyboard to start up with,
in order to enable Legacy USB in the BIOS.
Use a 40 Pin IDE cable with IDE CDROM,
I had some trouble with 80 Pin cables.

Other Thoughts: If not for the PS/2 & IDE problems, I would have rated higher. WOrks great with the MSI N9400GT-MD512H GeForce 9400 GT 512MB VGA with HDMI output for an HTPC.
The digital audio (SPDIF) connects right thru the HDMI cable with that combination - very nice with 1080i HDMI.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: For the price this was exactly what I wanted to replace an old motherboard.
