Get ready for a totally new overclocking experience that you've never had before! Based on Intel’s X58 and ICH10R chipsets, this ATX form-factor board is designed to support the latest Core i7 processors.
The DrMOS delivers a high quality power transfer to bring you a stable overlocking environment for future upgrades in processor capabilities. No application limitation of graphics cards, the MSI X58M Intel motherboard allows you to apply NVIDIA SLI and ATI CrossFire Multi-GPU technology according to your needs. Dominate your applications and games with up to 24GB of DDR3 memory fitting into six 240-pin slots with triple channel support and QPI up to 6.4GT/s for increased performance. Onboard Gigabit Ethernet LAN means that you can connect to other networked devices without running into a bottleneck.
Three PCI Express 2.0 x16 graphics cards can achieve CrossFire-linked performance at a fraction of the price. Seven 3Gb/s SATA connectors give you the ability to store massive amounts of data locally with several RAID configurations possible for extra security and high-speed performance and an eSATA port provides the same capabilities for an external drive. A half-dozen USB 2.0 ports give you additional options in connecting and expanding your system.
Pros: Good documentation, good price for SLI board, very easy overclocking menu, essentially everything.
Cons: None as far as I'm concerned
Other Thoughts: My setup did not require an SLI bridge to use SLI (which is good because the mobo does not come with one). Make sure you get the proper drivers from nvidia. The first time I downloaded them, I accidentally got the XP 64 bit package and couldn't understand why the nvidia control panel would not open.

Pros: It works, bios has options. The northbridge sata raid is one of the best there is, short of buying a $1000 card (or two). Lots of ports and stuff.
Cons: Advanced bios options are cryptic and the manual doesnt explain them.
Ships with crossfire bridge instead of nvidia bridge, which is really hard to find.

Pros: Everything worked great out of the box and there was alot in the box. It came with the SLI and Crossfire bridge connectors. It came with enough SATA cords to connect into every slot. The video card slots are spaced out perfectly for the larger video cards that are being used today. The RAM slots are a little tight but I still like them. I used a bigger and better cooler for my i7 cpu and it fit great with no clearance problems. My video care is a GTX 260. I used 3x2GB sticks of ram. Everything plugs in nicely and absolutely no heat issues even when running Crysis/GTA IV at max settings. Installed in a Coller Master HAF 932 Case. I can't get anything on the board to run over 65C. I love it and you will too. If you follow the instructions that come with the case, you will have no problems installing anything. It comes with detailed pictures and a nice layout diagram where to plug everything in. Very easy to Overclock as well, just click 3 switches and your up to 200 like nothing.
Cons: None. Should cost more for what your getting.
Other Thoughts: The board has really bright green and blue LEDs on it which light up the entire case on the inside. Kudos to MSI on using them.

Pros: Got it as a combo with i7 920 one of the top overclocked PC cpu, it's upgrade from a QX6850 3.0GHz FSB1333, ASUS MAXIMUS II, 4GB PC8500. Notice a bit faster because i got a uncompatible Triple Channel 6GB Patriot SF IV kit which only run at 1066MHz at the moment.
Cons: a retangle plate in the back of the cpu makes it really difficult to use the bracket come with my Zalman 9900 CPU Fan, so i had to use stock CPU fan for now temp at 45C, CPU tress at 50% temp went up to 80C.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Very fast, the chipset is fantastic. All of the features are great. The start, reset, and clear CMOS buttons are a nice touch. I used them for testing outside of the case. I do this with all of my builds to ensure that all of the parts work prior to installation. The Bios recognized all hardware on initial setup. works flawlessly
Cons: The NorthBridge is a little on the warm side. I removed the heatsink and used a pea sized amount of Arctic Silver 5 and the temps are more comfortable now.
Other Thoughts: I will be buying this board as the standard for all future builds until I can't get them any more. Shipping was fast. As always Newegg is the only place that I look at when ordering parts. I am confident in their entire package from price, shipping, RMA (if needed), etc... The One, The Only, The EGG!!!
