5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: I have had this MB for 3 years with no issues, one of the best things about it is it's versatility.
Has worked great for everything and it will run high end games like Skyrim with Mods.
This is a MB I plan on keeping!

Cons: None that I can think of.

4 out of 5 eggsWas pleased until...

Pros: Nice layout (except SATA ports), and nice features for the price. Runs Win7-64 and Fedora Core 12-64 with no issues, and quite speedy for a budget build. Overall, board seems like higher quality than some others I've used in the same price range. Would have given 5 eggs were it not for...

Cons: The CPU heatsink retention bracket on the board only has one "catch" per side rather than the typical 3 for AMD CPU's. I used an Arctic cooler Freezer 7 Pro, which is quite large. Worked great until I shipped to a relative who was the ultimate owner of the box. The cooler popped off in shipping, taking the CPU chip with it. In the process, it broke 10-12 pins off the chip, so now the chip is an expensive paper-weight. Partially my fault for not removing the cooler during shipment, so I only deducted on egg. Thought about deducting 2, but I should have known better.

Other Thoughts: Great board for the price, but MSI, please give us back the more substantial CPU retention bracket.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: A very well-made board for light to medium use, though I'm quite sure it could handle anything I could throw at it. I have two of these, one for the wife who mostly uses browsers and e-mail, and the other as a HTPC. The home theater setup is a little more demanding. Sideport memory is great when you figure out what it is, and I have a Powercolor 3450 512 MB video card running a 47" HD TV flawlessly.

Cons: Being a micro-ATX board, real estate is cramped.

Other Thoughts: Phenom X4 955 processor, 4GB DDR3, PCI wireless N adapter and PCI-E X1 TV card, WD 750 Caviar Black hard drive, ASUS DVD burner. Using HDMI on Powercolor card to run TV, simple mini-stereo cable to music system. Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

4 out of 5 eggsBang for your buck.

Pros: Supports AM3 and DDR3 Effortlessly. I'm using a Quad core Athlon 635. Popped it in and Boom! Windows loads within 20 seconds from power on. Design is reputable compared to other boards.

Cons: Make sure you flash your bios upon installing drivers. You might have to manually set the timings for your RAM. I had to, even after a BIOS flash.

Other Thoughts: AMD Athlon x4 635 @ 95 Watts. w/ Stock Fan
ADATA 4GB DDR3 1600mHz w/ Headspreader
1TB WD BLACK SATA3 (6.0)
eVGA nVidia 250GTS (Overclocked)
430Watt Thermaltake PSU
Lite-on DVD Burner
Rosewill PCI Wireless Card
All Stuffed into a Coolermaster Case =D

1 out of 5 eggsNot Compatible with AMD X6

Pros: Looks good on paper. Newegg shipped quickly. Makes a nice paper weight

Cons: Not compatible with AMD X6 cpus. BIOS updates from MSI will make the board useless.

Other Thoughts: I've been building systems for over a decade and this is by far the most frustrating build ever. upgraded the board to BIOS version 2.5 and it bricked the motherboard. RMA'd the first board and while waiting for the replacement I noticed MSI released BIOS version 2.7 which supposedly makes it compatible with AMD X6 cpus...it does NOT. got the replacement board and upgraded the BIOS to version 2.7 which bricked the board as well. Sent back to Newegg for a refund.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Solid built, very stable in work motherboard. Very mainstrem, has everything you need to connect. Plus is it fits in smaller case - saves more room on the desk. No problem with memory. I was surprised by performance of its graphic on-board card. It has only 128 MB (but 1 Gb) video memory and uses additional 512 MB (I believe) shared memory. I put Athlon II X4 Quad core and this was just build for it. I have 4 GB of memory, having before 3 GB was not sufficient because 512 MB goes towards video card.

Cons: This video card is suffient for everything but for highest resolution 1920x1280 on monitor running youtube flash video in full screen mode is not enough (video stops after couple minutes), but with other videos it works fine even in full screen with highest resolution. So you might need to buy separate video card.

Other Thoughts: Excellent for budget computer.
