Pros: Another great MOBO from MSI. I built a great low cost system with a 250 CPU and an IN-WIN 647 case. With the AMD power monitor, everything is cool, quiet, and compact. Uses low cost DDR2 memory. The graphics are new and probably better than the 790G chipset, but may be a little lite for a serious gamer. Unlike the E65 version of this board, which uses DDR3, there is no sideboard memory. The USB ports are not vertical, as most mobos, but probably worked better with my compact case.
Cons: Not a one so far.
Other Thoughts: I have three computers, all with MSI boards. The 790GX atx has been with me for a while with a 9950. It is noisy and warm. The 785GM-E65 is DDR3 1330 with sideport in an IN-WIN compact case and runs very cool and quiet. This board, 785GTM-E45 cost even less with 4G of DDR2 800 and a 250 cpu. In real life general use, the 9950 is faster on a few things, the 550 is faster on a lot of things, and the 250 hangs in there and keeps up with the 550 to the point that I really cannot tell the difference. The 550 setup may be helpful in a future cpu upgrade, if they do not change the socket. Other than that, this mobo, a 250, and 4 gigs of DDR2 will not set you back a lot of cash and it will fly through your normal needs for years to come. It sure gets my vote.

Good Mobo, no vcpu adjust in bios

Pros: Supposedly one of the lower power consuming motherboards. Can unlock cores, overclock [ram, HT, cpu (Vcpu by software)]. Works great if you don't care about overclocking.
Cons: IGP is HD4200 which is almost identical to HD3200. Doesn't hybrid crossfire with HD 4xxx (it's the chipset not MSI). No Vcpu adjustment in BIOS. I can't seem to be able to overclock the HD4200 (not in BIOS, Catalyst, or Overdrive).
Other Thoughts: I read one of the other reviews saying that there was no Vcpu adjustment. I thought that was bogus since it would be in the Cell Menu in the BIOS. Unfortunately that person is right as there is no way to put the cursor over the Vcpu field. Posts in forums say MSI is on a workaround, probably in a new bios update. The current workaround, however, is to adjust the Vcpu by software using AMD's Overdrive. Just install and click on the green button on the top right (to disable Cool'n Quiet) and you are armed with multitudes of overclocking settings.

Pros: has everything I need...now only if it worked all the time.
Cons: Works intermittently wshen installed in the case when first installed it didn't work at all so I removed all components from my case and lo and behold it worked fine I even installed my os. I didn't put this board into service until 30 days after purchase(fixed income buying parts every month) so I can't rma to newegg.
Other Thoughts: I may try msi to see what they say but I won't be able to post it until next month...either way it seems I'm out of luck for now. >.<

Pros: Easy overclocking, worked with out a hitch.
Cons: It doesn't tell you what key to hit to enter bios (it's delete though)

Pros: Nice board all around.I prefer a different chipset but hey it wasnt for me and its not being used for heavy games or overclocking.IMHO even if u wanted to overclcok it def poss.one thing i was suprised to see was the dial that lets u overclcok right on the board itself,very nifty,also i have a 790gx for my system and i dont use the onboard video but this msi board has better onboard video than my board and its cheaper.runs fast no heat issues what so ever but thats no suprise from msi.Quick boot times and easy install.manual is very informative and would def be good if u need to refer to it.
Cons: none...well not really a con since it is a micro.only four usb ports.but hey u could always get usb addons so thats no big deal.
Other Thoughts: this board is a good solution if ur looking for quality with a decent price.
