5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Mobo

Pros: - Solid Stable and well built board.
- 6 SATA Connectors
- Included AMD Overdrive Software is top notch for monitoring and testing your system even if you dont overclock.

Cons: - No RAID 5 or 10, software controlled or not would have been nice to at least have the option for this.
- No PCI-E 4x or 8x slots. But then again most non server boards dont, which is a shame.

Other Thoughts: Actually I am only giving the board a personal 4.9 rating due to lack of RAID 5 or 10.

I do how ever have this board running RAID0 (stripping) with 4 320GB WB Cav Blue drives with performance around 370MB/s Read and 360MB/s Writes.

I willl be recommending this board for a long time.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid board

Pros: Easy to install, the multi-socket is great for those with AM2 procs looking to go AM3 later. The FSB over clocking feature is simple and easy to use.

Cons: No on-board video but eh' that's in the details.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat purchase.

Pros: I purchased this board for $69.00 to make use of 8 gig of ddr2 800 corsair ram I had laying around and stuck a AMD Propus quad in it. After os and driver install I made use of this boards Auto overclocking feature and used the 10% setting to take the processor up to 3.3 ghz from stock 3.0 with the flip of a switch. Perfect for the Stock fan and heat sink. This board is a excellent budget buy. The automatic driver downloading is another plus. you can't go wrong with this board for a budget build.

Cons: Really wish they came with 2 Sata cables instead of one. but it is a budget board.

4 out of 5 eggsGood replacement board

Pros: Good layout, plenty of expansion, price, quality. Upgradable to 6-core processors. 4 memory slots for ddr2 which is hard to find now.

Cons: Bios layout somewhat cumbersome. Memory placement limits size of CPU cooler.

Other Thoughts: Bought to replace a burned up Biostar 790GX board. Running 8 gigs DDR2 which I did not want to replace. Phase switching along with the leaner feature set makes board more efficient than my old board.
Phenom II 940; 8 gig Kingston 1066 ram; Radeon HD 5830; Asus 9400 combo TV tuner; Seagate 320Gb, Western Digital 500Gb, Samsung 1Tb, Hitachi 2Tb Hard drive; Lite-On Blue-Ray burner; HP Dvd burner, Cooler Master M700 Silent Pro PS

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible board

Pros: nothing

Cons: This board felt cheap the minute i laid my hand on it
The i/o panel felt like i could bend it easily
The memory slots are aren't very good
The PCI-E x16 slot has a very weird clip
Would not post the most i got was the logo which was only once

Other Thoughts: I did indeed try everything
All of the parts worked before and are still currently working so i know it was the motherboard

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Supports core unlocking and most of the other tweaking options enthusiasts would need. SATA ports aren't right angle, but they are out of the way of the PCI-E slot so they won't interfere with long video cards. Not something I'd use, but also supports switch-based overclocking (could be handy for preventing OC settings from being lost after a BIOS flash or reset). Flashing the BIOS is easy with M-Flash. The active phase switching is also a pretty neat feature, this is common to a lot of MSI motherboards and is supposed to increase power efficiency by dynamically adjusting the number of power phases used by the CPU. At idle and low load it only uses a single phase, and at full load all four phases.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Not as many features compared to 870, or even 770 AM3 boards available, unfortunately selection for AM2+ boards has become pretty limited (not surprising, the socket is EOL, motherboard manufacturers aren't going to be spending much money on developing AM2+ boards). I wanted to reuse my 8GB of DDR2, though, so was stuck with AM2+. If you're in a similar situation, would definitely recommend this board. I looked at quite a few AM2+ boards and this seemed to be about the best in this price range. If you want Crossfire, look at 790 based boards.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Ram Slots are far enough away to allow my large air cooler (XT-1264)
Good amount of USB ports (expandable to way more too)
SATA slots are not by the video card
Model number is easy to read
PS/2 ports
3 PCI ports for all your goodies.

Cons: NB heatsink could be a little bigger
Odd shape. Didn't cause a problem but plugging in the 24pin power was sketchy. More in other thoughts
Serial port? Why?
Audio port should be in an easier location. I can't plug a 3rd PCI card in with this plugged in. Would rather have it by the USB and front connection plugins.

Other Thoughts: The mobo is some weird shape. Only 1/2 inch away from reaching the 3rd screw slot, which would have made me feel safer, but so far there has been nothing noticeably negative. My fault for not seeing this in the specs.
