5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me!

Pros: Love the red board. Everything worked. OCed a 1.6 dual core to 2.2 ghz, not a bad jump, was easy to do. installed into a CM storm scout case with a red theme.

Cons: I found nothing, the little blue light on the board throws off my color scheme, but who care, i look at the screen more!

Other Thoughts: everything runs so cool, my OCed processor had no fan on the heatsink and still keeps good temps

4 out of 5 eggsOK Budget Board

Pros: Works well for what it's designed for, an inexpensive, no frills mobo. Two RAM slots, one PCI-E, 4 SATA 3GB ports, on board video. I'm using this board as the basis for my HTPC build, and for that purpose I have no complaints.

Cons: The BIOS is very limited if you intend to overclock. No voltage adjustments at all. Pick another board if you want more overclocking features than FSB adjustment and RAM timings.

Other Thoughts: Have experimented with two different CPU's. a BSEL modded E4400 overclocked from 1.8ghz to 2.9ghz without any added voltage. On the otherhand, a Q9300 would only get 2550 ghz from stock 2.5. Not sure if this was due to voltage limitation or FSB. Could not get past 340 FSB no matter what settings.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Price, 4 Sata ports, Handled a Q6600 and 4 gigs of OCZ Gold, nice BIOS.

Cons: Would be nice to have a PCI 1X for sound or tv tuner.

Other Thoughts: Housed in an Antec New Solution NSK2480 with two WD Black drives which hold W7 x64 and data. Four gigs of OCZ ram and a Q6600 it makes for a VERY nice media center IMO.

This is my first MCI board as I usually stick to Asus, Gigabyte or EVGA depening on what kinda system I'm building. I will say for what I need it for it's going to work out great. Two thumbs up.

1 out of 5 eggsbad bios

Pros: fast shipping!

Cons: have been through 2 of these boards now, both have a bios problem and request bios recovery. Every few restarts it will post fine and get to the "click any key to install" option for windows then restart. Knoppix begins to load and restarts too.

Other Thoughts: Updated bios, same thing happens.
Bios recovery requested, insert usb flash drive with bios file...it detects the usb drive and starts to flash but crashes

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid board. Great overclocker and good design.

Cons: Why wouldn't they give me the latest BIOS when it has been out for awhile? Not a big deal, but took 3 minutes of my time :)

5 out of 5 eggsAcer Replacement

Pros: Great Value, Very small, Easy OC'ing, Good onboard sound card, Very In-depth BIOS. Even has a little blue light (onboard) that comes on when something is not connected correctly.

Cons: Can't really think of any.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this board to replace an Acer board that had died. This is also my first MSI board and I would say I am a very satisfied customer!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Works great, haven't had any problems except a rediculous "tatoo" issue with HP software that I had to work around. That has nothing to do with this product though, just an unfortunate side effect.

Cons: Kind of wish the manual was a little more clear on the features of the motherboard. Got rid of a star because of it.... the binding was really cheaply made too and was falling apart. It was my first time installing a motherboard so I needed it!

Other Thoughts: Would have liked the neat LED lights that shows the status of the motherboard.... can't remmeber the name. Basically helps you install it and troubleshoot. I had incompatible memory at first and it wouldn't start up. Had to figure it out on my own.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: - Everything worked as it should.
- Compatible with the older Intel e2160.
- Works with ATI HD5770
- Has a blue LED light when you turn it on :)

Cons: In the user guide (Model NO. MS-7529) there is a misprint on page 9, under the "Getting Started" Section.

"....design based on Intle (r) G31 ...."
^^ I have never heard of "Intle"

Other Thoughts: I got this board to replace an older AsRock ConRoe1333-D667. I first tried to upgrade my aging ATI HD3650 to a ATI HD5770, but for some reason the AsRock wouldn't not boot with it.

5 out of 5 eggsWow. Wasn't expecting this.

Pros: Small, lots of room between components, good onboard video, easy overclock (DIP switches), supports the old ddr2 i dont feel like upgrading.

Cons: only one IDE port (that's to be expected in this day and age though...).

Other Thoughts: tiny board. looked bigger in the pic... not that this is a problem, mind you. looks cool too. it was kinda weird to see the DIP switches on the board, but hey, i run alot of other archaic stuff, so why the heck not? I kind wish that it came with stickers or a t-shirt or something. I like to show off what i got inside my case.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat board for the price

Pros: ridiculously easy overclocking, great price, my fat fingers didnt break anything

Cons: 2 ram slots

Other Thoughts: First time i ever went further than upgrading ram; my old mobo went, and a new computer is not in my budget; i was able to replace the old system with this MB and an intel celeron 2.5ghz e3300 processor for around $100 USD. Used my old VGA (nvidia 6800), ram, drives, etc for my budget 'build'.
For having no experience building anything in the past, it went smoother than i could have imagined; no doubt thanks to MSI
