1 out of 5 eggsFried...

Pros: None... At all...

Cons: I installed this motherboard in a newly built system about 2 years ago. And within the burn-in process, it up and died but not before that awful electrical burning stench filled the room. Returned even tho they were out of stock, got a refund.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Got this for $50 and free shipping
Good for budget gaming rig
I got the last one newegg had lol.

Cons: No PCIE 3.0 (I picked this one by mistake, that is what I get fore not double checking what I click)

It did not come with mobo screws, so I used the ones of my dead mobo. Also the user guide is very vague and looks like it was meant for multiple models. This was not my first build so it id not hold me back. However for new builders this can be a problem.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked - For a while...

Pros: Reasonable price

Cons: Lasted a few months, then would hang on reboots. Even clean installs of windows would hang. Replaced motherboard and system was fine.

Never overclocked, all stock settings.

Other Thoughts: Maybe just a bad board, but a heads up that I did have an issue that required me to replace it.

3 out of 5 eggs1 yr and trouble

Pros: Board worked, price and some over clockability

4 out of 5 eggsWorked for me

Pros: Plug and play. Used 2 x 4 GB Corsair XMS3 Memory and a G840 processor. Hit the power switch and up came the BIOS. Installed w7 64 bit and up and running in an hour. Inexpensive and fast. 5.5 Performance Rating (desktop video slowest) and a whopping 7.1 on the memory.

Cons: Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the BIOS defaults to SATA IDE mode (legacy). Had to do some research on how to change it to AHCI mode and then get Windows to see the hard drive without starting over. Required a registry change.

Other Thoughts: Recommend, just change the SATA mode in BIOS on the first boot.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent budget board.

Pros: Let me begin with saying, I bought this board as an open box.

The board is packaged very well, the box is double walled for extra protection, usually that type of packaging is reserved for higher end boards. The board is made with only solid Japanese capacitors, most boards in this price range use cheap electrolytic or Chinese caps, overall the electronic components on the board are of good quality for the price.

Most 1155 boards have let go of the PCI slots, because Sandy Bridge chipset no longer supports it, but I still have a very capable sound card ,that relies on a PCI slot, there is no reason to upgrade it, so PCI slot was a must for me.

Cons: For the price, no complaints.

Other Thoughts: I have red the reviews before buying this board, but I owned many MSI products including 3 motherboards, and never had a problem, so went ahead with the purchase anyway, glad I did and would again. The board has been very stable, and given me no problems. Take most newegg reviews with a grain of salt.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid this thing.

Pros: At least one of them worked!

Cons: Newegg sent us a defective board and then blamed me for breaking it. I had just installed the EXACT same mobo in another pc with no problems. I'm typing this on that PC! Lemme flip a tip to newegg: get some new people in your RMA dept. This is stupid.

Other Thoughts: Worst newegg experience ever. They ripped me off time and money wise.

1 out of 5 eggsNo sound, anywhere.

Pros: BIOS has some pretty decent but mostly basic features, even if you're an over-clocker. Paired with an I3-2120 and 2x4GB 1333, HIS Radeon HD 6570 and the ST1500DL003. Seems to run like a champ, but see my cons. If MSI sees that you have a problem with their products, they'll comment on your feedback with assistance. Haven't seen anyone else do THAT.

Cons: No onboard sound. I knew about having to flash the BIOS, so I did. Still no sound...not even from add-on cards. Cut some of those extra languages out of the manual and make room for the other half of IMPORTANT information you guys dropped. I spent more time on Google than I did reading the book. Had to get information about the board SOMEHOW. Date & time, acronyms and SOME connector lists and THATS IT.

Please don't make me have to gut this computer AGAIN just to RMA a mainboard.

Other Thoughts: Never in my life have I had a motherboard, that not only had no working integrated sound right out of the box, but no add-in cards will work either. I'm using the 10D BIOS, and went from 10A(stock) to 10B THEN 10C NOW 10D. Still nothing. It kills everything when you literally cannot have sound. My WD-73640 doesn't play sound with the mini-jack but will through HDMI. Problems is, HDMI sound is ONLY for gaming it seems. With it enabled, you won't get sound anywhere else, or on any other ports. Nothing is muted and the speakers and cards have been verified in numerous other machines.
