5 out of 5 eggsMSI quality

Pros: This board served me well for over a year. I only replaced it because I wanted a larger board with two widely spaced PCIEx16 slots. I used it for a build for somebody else and it is still going strong.

MSI BIOS is the most user friendly and configurable of any I've used.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: * Has usb 3.0
* Plenty of sata
* Still running great
* BIOS user interface is very nice

Cons: * Somehow everytime when I install the usb 3.0 driver from the cd for my windows 7, the windows crashed and blue screen. After restarted the computer, it shows the driver is installed. Weird. This shouldn't be a problem with windows 8 or higher because it support usb 3.0 natively.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Had it more than a Year

This mobo is nothing too special and would not recommend it for high end builds. This is mostly for budget builds. It does feature usb 3.0 however which most mother boards in this price range lack. The settings on the boot up menu aren't bad. However remember this motherboard is not able to overclock you cpu so don't buy it if you're using a K version intel cpu.

Cons: Nothing really, it does what it does

Other Thoughts: Your average, budget, board

4 out of 5 eggsgood basic board

Pros: Supports Ivy Bridge CPUs,6 SATA ports, 4 memory slots

Cons: Doesn't like to boot ESXi 5.x from SATA interfaces (but can boot from USB and use SATA interfaces for storage drives), older Linux kernels don't seem to like the onboard NIC very much, though the newest Ubuntu (13.10) seems quite happy with it.) No HDMI port.

Other Thoughts: Using a Celeron G1610, running ESXi, Linux, and Windows - have been very happy with it overall.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works fine. Nice that it has 4 memory slots, can boot either EFI or legacy bios.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you don't need bleeding-edge Haswell performance, this is a great sub-$100 board.

3 out of 5 eggsIncompatible with Windows 8.1

Pros: Nice motherboard for the price. Works pretty well, has a fair featureset. Easy to overclock, though I don't plan on using that. Two memory pairs (dual-channel): be sure to put identical modules in same-colored slots for a performance boost. SATA III port is great for SSDs, but beware that there is only one; other five are SATA II. Comes with two SATA III cables, which is a big plus, because I am always low on those.

Cons: Incompatible with Windows 8.1 (not the preview, but the actual release from MSDN). This is a big problem for me, and the only reason that I've subtracted eggs. Receive error 0x80070002 very quickly during installation, likely indicating missing drivers. This is with "Windows 8 Mode" enabled in BIOS. Tried with mostly default options as well as customized. Going to attempt Windows 8 now.

Other Thoughts: A lot of things that you'd want enabled are disabled by default in the BIOS/UEFI settings. Be sure to go through all of the screens and enable what you need. It doesn't look as though there's an option to enable virtualization, but it could just be forced on.

When you're plugging in the LEDs and such from your case, read the paper instructions; they're documented better there than on the physical motherboard. The printing on the motherboard is lacking polarity for LEDs (positive is on the outer edge), and the image on the mobo is reversed (there are two sets of prongs, but the mobo image shows the left on the right and the right on the left--easy to do it wrong if you don't read the numbers).

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD MOBO

Pros: Great specs for the price

Cons: Put some screw holes on the right side of this board, other than that good so far....

Other Thoughts: Don't get this if you are expecting z77 OC ability, I was able to get a small OC increase with my i5 3470.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap Motherboard

Pros: Well, truthfully, you get what you pay for, and this is a cheaper motherboard. What it does have, is good though. It's an MSI board, so that's a plus. Everything on the board functions well, and is very easy to organize. The SATA 6gb/s is also nice, if you use it.

Cons: It only has the B75 chipset, but it does work well. There is also only one PCI-e slot, so if you plan on SLI-ing, it's a no-go.

Other Thoughts: I bought this board for a simple gaming computer, nothing fancy. It works very well.
