5 out of 5 eggsWorks Good

Pros: yeah this motherboard just a basics, Not fast not bad just basic and working good.

Cons: Ok there was just a little problem, after all cables the video cards and wirings. when i start up the PC it did not read my Hard Drive. Well it boot up you can see MSI LOGO when the PC starts. And then it says Something About CD/DVD blah blah. So i thought error and i know it's not. so i open it up the Computer Case i re-check the SATA Connector both hard drive and my DVD player. Well they were in SATA 1 and the DVD at SATA 2. so i didn't bother Them Both. i start my PC Then i went to the BIOS there it was. The BIOS sets at other SATA # So i adjust it at SATA 1 is my hard drive and the Sata 2 is for my DVD Just that part and then i save it then Reboot. after the Reboot it Reads my hard Drive then everything smooth Awesome Case Solve.

Other Thoughts: i was using Phenom ii x4 952 Black Edition and my Ram was G.SKILL AEGIS 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C11D-16GIS.

Power Supply: Enermax 600 WATTS
Video Card: R9 270x FXF Black Edition
My Games Are: Battlefield Hard Line
Battlefield 4
battlefield 3
War Thunder
Soldier Front 2
Combat Arms
all High Quality Games Smooth with this Motherboard.

3 out of 5 eggsNothing special, does the job

Pros: Affordable, does exactly what I needed it to as an inbetween.

Cons: Other than the first one working once and not turning on again. RMA'd it and the second works perfectly.

Other Thoughts: Previous motherboard PCI slots fried. Needed a replacement that could use all my old components and and this fit the bill.

3 out of 5 eggsFX 8320 + ThisMB = :(

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Sata II is extremely sluggish, Im running FX 8320 and can't tweak the settings without having to reset the bios. Deffinatly don't even try to OC this cpu with this board. Can't wait for my ASUS M5A99 MB to get here cause this thing just is crippling my performance. My 7500Rpm Seagate and 240GB SSD kingston drive will not read or write beyond 200MB second w/200+ ms response times while coping. My A88XG43 board would run my 7200rpm drive at 240MBs Reads and 190MBs writes and SSD at 390MBs reads and 198MBs writes. and that was on a A6 CPU. This board is good for BACKUP only.

Other Thoughts: MOSFETs need heatsinks BAD...

3 out of 5 eggsGood for a month

Pros: Works really well for the first couple of weeks to a month. Easy to install and has great features all around.

Cons: Cmos battery lasted about 3 weeks. My computer turns on automatically throughout the day and night, and it resets the date and time every time I turn it on.

Other Thoughts: Great board, Great price, but I would suggest having backup batteries just in case.

5 out of 5 eggsAverage Use Review

Pros: Does what it claims. Good for budget build. Onboard graphics which I like to have in case of card failure.

Cons: Lack of information in the manual about certain features like Supercharger/Winki, ect.

Other Thoughts: I don't do any overclocking so I can't give any information on it's ease of use or stability. Whenever I have had to make changes in the bios, it was all very simple. I didn't use any of the additional software since I didn't really have a need for it. I've had this board for about a year almost and haven't ran into any issues with it even after upgrading a few bits.

Everything fits without issue for me, but I can easily see where some would have problems with the RAM being covered by a bigger cooler, but there are work arounds. If you're push/pull config is horizontal on your air cooler you may not be able to reach your ram, but they shouldn't hit each other. You're getting what you pay for with this board imo. No more, no less.

4 out of 5 eggsbeen working but feels

Pros: been running an AMD fx-8320 125w no problem, installed a radeon r9 270x and I am having no "outstanding" issues. giving 4 eggs because it is what advertised.

Cons: motherboard is the micro, i regret not getting a full motherboard. the board feels fragile. the 2.2tb thing is weird and confusing. Had a issue with my bios failing to boot from hard drive, the bios had changed its settings. easy fix but annoying.

Other Thoughts: i would recommended spending more money and get a full board. but if you are really short on cash this board will work and will run a 125w processor.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Decent

Pros: AMD FX support microATX with overclocking capability.
Wonderfully Thorough BIOS.
Black PCB looks good in a black case.
Reliable (despite other reviews based on a DOA product).

Cons: 2U x 9.5" ("enthusiast") graphics cards will block not only the PCI 1x slot, but also 3 of 6 SATA jacks as well as the CMOS battery.
BIOS was not translated very well.
Oversized CPU cooler may block one of the RAM slots (specifically the cooler master Evo 212 with push/pull fan configuration, or simmilar).

Other Thoughts: I believe it's unfair to review a product that's DOA. Take your complaints elsewhere, don't post them as a review.

I've owned this board for over a year and have not had any issues with it, even pushing it with periodic overclocking (full time for RAM) and forcing unexpected reboots.

If you're shopping for a microATX board, you should know by now that the market for AMD AM3+ microATX motherboards is slim and manufacturers aren't exactly competing for the best product (vs. Intel microATX options).

I chose this board, despite the complaints of DOA products, because it suits my budget-performance build. After waiting patiently for the best deals, I was able to build a very fast and quiet editing computer for under $700, see specs:

This mobo+
AMD FX-8350
8GB 1866 DDR3 (OC'ed to this board)
120GB *refurbished* OCZ SSD + 1TB HDD
GeForce 570 GTX, (occasionally overclocked for gaming ;-) <- bought used on electronic bay

Nestled nicely into the Fractal Design Define Mini. With BIOS settings set sys fan reduced to 50% and CPU minimum fan speed set to 0%, this makes very little noise at all.
