Other Thoughts: When I turned it on today, the computer did not start, but instead made a pop followed by a burning smell. An IC near the lithium battery burned after less than 5 months of occasional use. I have been building computers for more than 25 years, and this is the first time I had a motherboard fail within the warranty period. We'll see how good the MSI warranty is. I just noticed the warranty information that came with this motherboard was for Australia even though I purchased it from Newegg. Do you think MSI USA will honor the warranty? I would hate to pay to ship this cheap motherboard back and then have them tell me its not covered.

Pros: Great dirt cheap mobo
Should fit all needs of someone on a tight budget

Cons: Doesn't play nice with an attempted Pentium K OC (bootloop or BSOD)
Doesn't have USB 3.0 headers

Other Thoughts: For the price, there are far few better mobos out there, just be wary of using this to OC a Pentium.

Pros: Has gotten me through a couple of Pentiums for a low end gaming rig, a G3220 and G3258(@ 4.5). Purchased 10/18/13

Cons: No longer boots with 2 sticks of RAM. Froze in the middle of a game of rocket league, and never booted right again. It's had the same set of Corsair XMS3 2x2GB set which still boots and memtests fine in my other rig. I've now tried three sets of RAM in this mobo and all boot fine with 1 stick and won't boot at all with both. The CMOS has been reset and the battery pulled for long periods. Sucks but it died. (2nd Egg since I can still use it 'til I get a new one.

Other Thoughts: My temps were always fine, in fact they still are cause I'm typing this with a single DIMM of 4GB while I wait for my replacement. Really don't think the overclock did it, but who knows...

Other Thoughts: Im impressed with the price of that motherboard. All the feature i needed, my GPU fits perfectly, 8GB or ram too, nothing was in the way or difficult to install.

Pros: Can't complain for the price. Does what I need it to do. No issues as of yet. Using for my HTPC, no overclocking of course.

Cons: Didn't include a manual only a quick start guide. Headers on motherboard for power, reset, etc not labeled (only by code). I had to refer to the manual on the MSI web site. This is the first time I've ran into this issue building a computer.

Other Thoughts: For a HTPC it does the trick. Just make sure you download a manual.

Pros: Inexpensive board. Has HDMI & USB 3.0.

Cons: After less than 8 months of use my PC would no longer POST. After swapping every part except for the CPU & Motherboard I went ahead and purchased another Mobo and installed my CPU with all of the existing essential parts (CPU, Power Supply & RAM) and guess what? POST good, boots perfeclty! My PC had been acting really weird in the weeks leading up to the mobo completely dying. Now I have to go through the RMA process with MSI. It's already started off poorly when trying to register the mobo their system says the serial # is invalid.

Other Thoughts: I had good luck with MSI parts in the past so that's why I stuck with them. But I guess I just got a bad one.

Pros: Low cost, easy OC, HDMI, USB 3.0, SATA 6gb, mATX, IG, 8-channel audio. Includes SATA 6gb cables.

Cons: Limited support for higher RAM speeds. Supplied documentation is skimpy. Some cryptic BIOS settings.

Other Thoughts: Paired with a G3258 - runs great. BIOS flash to latest was smooth. Download the manual to connect pin headers (front panel, USB 2.0, audio). Overclocks stably to 4.2GHz with stock cooler. Plays 40mbps video butter-smooth.

Pros: Runs great, booted right up after first try

Cons: Bios wasn't great for the revised LGA 1150 chips which causes a reboot issue.

Other Thoughts: I tried flashing the Bios update to fix the reboot issue and now it takes a minute from pushing power button to loading bios and then booting windows.
This would be much better if I didn't have the reboot issue and the problem after flashing the bios. It almost made me think I killed the motherboard.
BTW after flashing the bios I still have the reboot problem.

Pros: - BIOS is user friendly and has cool features
- Current features (usb 3, sata 6gb, HDMI, etc.)
- Priced competitively

Cons: - Instructions are meh.. (then again, most instructions are)
- Adding a pci slot would be nice (not a con, just a wish)

Other Thoughts: This is a really solid, stable mobo for a budget build. While it's always nice to have more of the features (USB 3, sata 6gb), MSI gives you an adequate amount to be priced competitively. I'm using this with an i3-4360, Windows 8.1, 2 HDDs, optical and has been running great.

FYI- I had an issue where the board wasn't rebooting after Windows restarted (the power would stay on but no video signal). I learned that you'll need to update the BIOS and Intel ME firmware- which you can do via USB in the BIOS. Not a negative on MSI, just something to be aware.

Pros: EXCELLENT! graphical hardware monitor in BIOS. small form factor, perfect for micro atx case.

Cons: no front panel pin header
