Pros: It was very easy to set up.

Cons: First time set up, received code D0, meaning late CPU Initialization. Tried CPU on another LGA 1150 mobo and it booted fine, so I RMA under assumption board may just be bad.

The second time I received, I had a professional install (to ensure it was not human element) and he received D0 code as well, so he ran a different mobo with my CPU and it worked fine.

Other Thoughts: I am sure that if this motherboard worked, it would be fantastic, but the fact that I received two non-working ones tells me that the Quality Assurance may be lacking on the manufacturer's part. I also can't replace or refund the second one so now I am just out on $150. If you buy, understand that you will be taking a gamble at whether you will receive a working one or not. Good Luck.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a MSI 970A-G46 to switch to Intel. Wow! The features are amazing. Extremely easy to OC/adjust voltage and timings. Even comes with an SLI bridge! Popped this bad boy in and only had to adjust RAM timings, which was very easy using the Extreme Tuning Utility. This is a high quality board. Paired with a 4790k I'm ready to do some serious work!

Pros: Good looking board. Would have liked the chipset. Have a Gigabyte mobo with same chip set (works great)

Cons: Arrived DOA. Could not get a single sign of life. Tried two different, good quality 600 watt power supplies, but nothing. Nada.
Maybe just bad luck. IDK.

Pros: - Had everything I wanted
- Fair price sounds a bit much but honestly isn't really
- Looks really nice I know that's not much but given how many boards I feel look boring or uninspired I like having a little esthetic to it.

Cons: - It doesn't have on-board wifi which I knew and was prepared for but still a warning to the ones out there not thinking about it.
- Um... its red if you don't like the whole black red design

Other Thoughts: - Love the board
- Heavier than I expected which just makes me happy for some reason.
- I like the silver dragon on the side of the heat sink as just a little something.
- Honestly a fine board worthy of its price.

Pros: Love this board. I own two and would buy another. Msi is quality.

Cons: None

Pros: Basically works, nice breadth of BIOS (Overclocking and Otherwise) options.

Cons: 1. If you define a RAID volume, you will need to REMOVE and then re-add the drives (if migrating storage from another mobo, even if it supported the Intel Storage Manager). Otherwise, good luck getting a load of the OS, errors galore. Found this out the hard way after hours of suffering.
2. If you plan on mixing RAID and non-RAID(-0) drives, forget it. I haven't gotten it to work and I'm not going through an RMA at this point- wouldn't be cost-effective.
3. Trying to boot any device in Legacy Mode (non-UEFI) is a nightmare, sketchy at best.
4. (More of a nice-to-have I suppose) Plugging in the power supply and turning it on while connected - the board DOES NOT LIGHT UP (i.e. you won't know from looking at the board it HAS POWER. So, be aware of this - only lights you see happen after Power 'Button' connection is closed.

Other Thoughts: Have an MSI laptop, great. Have bought MSI video cards - no qualms with them either - all great. But this mobo - not so great.

Pros: Cool red colors?

Cons: D0 code during Mid-Term exam while only having a few google chrome windows open. Also happened over night during downtime while no applications running.
USB 3.0 Front panel headers in horrible position and faulty.

Other Thoughts: MSI did a great job with the GE70 Apache Pro laptop that I have owned for almost 2 years but this board seems to be more problematic than its worth. Multiple reviews and tech support forums about the D0 code. MSI should get on top of quality control, some people reporting that they replaced board 3 times before they got one that worked. I don't have time for that.

Pros: - All the bells and whistles you like in a gaming board
- Onboard 1gb lan
- Sleek Black and Red Design
- Easy to use Bios and Overclocking

Cons: (Situational for me) The only thing I didn't like was the position of the Sata ports on the board. It conflicted with my case and I had to be sure to plug in all my sata lines before mounting down the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for an Asus board that came with my system. The Asus board burned up and I needed a new board in a hurry to seat my 4790k and strix gtx980ti. Everything about this board was better, the fan slots, the heatsyncs, the bios and the sexy design
