Pros: Everything works exactly as it should and very easy to set up and get dialed in.

Cons: RAM slots are just a tad too close to the CPU, and the only reason this "could" be a problem is with liquid cooling tubes coming off on that side. I have just barely enough room to slip in a piece of paper.

SATA slots could and in my opinion should be verticle instead of horizontal.

Neither of these "cons" are really cons just slight annoyances. I would buy this MOBO again.

Other Thoughts: After using Asus products I was unsure about MSI but after this I will be switching to MSI. The board feels very solid and built with quality parts and felt very heavy to hold. It has many features that will appeal to not only novice oerclockers but also to experienced. Overall great build by MSI

Pros: Plenty of connections. M.2 slot, utilizing the PCIE lanes, instead of SATA. Plenty of fan headers. Just rock steady in every way.

Cons: I have had no issues with this board.

Pros: its a very good mobo,set up was very easy,didnt have to update BIOS which was nice,this thing looks great inside,Esp when done with a red/blk theme.has debug LED(see other for little tip on this)comes with 2 sata cbls,nice emblem sticker,and door hanger(sorry,im busy gaming)lol.manual will walk ya right thru if ya get stuck or not sure about something.grab it up if ya don't wanna spend a lot on a big higher end mobo,this is just as good for whatever you wanna do!!

Cons: none really(see below)

Other Thoughts: So,i had some problems(or so I thought)with this mobo,it has a debug led which is great if something isn't sitting right somewhere,just know that after post and bios,that debug led will change to your cpu temperature!!so if it running in the 30c-71c range,its not a early/late cpu initialization or North Bridge, south bridge problem,just the new led code for your cpu temp!!they've changed that will the newer bios updates.

Pros: Worked great while it functioned.

Cons: After about a month and a half to two months the power will not come on anymore. I checked the power supply with another system to make sure it was working and I tried removing the board to check for grounds or shorts to no avail.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully the good folks at MSI can help me with this issue and I intend on giving this a 5 egg count if they can help.

Pros: - nice black and red aesthetic
- good manual with explanations of every part of the board
- aftermarket cooler was easy to install, motherboard went right into the case

Cons: - the logo gets mostly covered up by any graphics card in the first slot
- plugging in the motherboard power took several minutes of hard pushing until it locked into place, but this could be the fault of the power supply's cables

Other Thoughts: - do not make the same mistake I did, remember to take off the rubber guards on the USBs and integrated video outputs before you begin screwing it in

Pros: One of the best motherboards i ever used to be honest. Easy to install. The look is perfect. Everything works like needed.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: It was very easy to set up.

Cons: First time set up, received code D0, meaning late CPU Initialization. Tried CPU on another LGA 1150 mobo and it booted fine, so I RMA under assumption board may just be bad.

The second time I received, I had a professional install (to ensure it was not human element) and he received D0 code as well, so he ran a different mobo with my CPU and it worked fine.

Other Thoughts: I am sure that if this motherboard worked, it would be fantastic, but the fact that I received two non-working ones tells me that the Quality Assurance may be lacking on the manufacturer's part. I also can't replace or refund the second one so now I am just out on $150. If you buy, understand that you will be taking a gamble at whether you will receive a working one or not. Good Luck.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a MSI 970A-G46 to switch to Intel. Wow! The features are amazing. Extremely easy to OC/adjust voltage and timings. Even comes with an SLI bridge! Popped this bad boy in and only had to adjust RAM timings, which was very easy using the Extreme Tuning Utility. This is a high quality board. Paired with a 4790k I'm ready to do some serious work!

Pros: Good looking board. Would have liked the chipset. Have a Gigabyte mobo with same chip set (works great)

Cons: Arrived DOA. Could not get a single sign of life. Tried two different, good quality 600 watt power supplies, but nothing. Nada.
Maybe just bad luck. IDK.
