Pros: - Reasonably priced.
- Lots of ports and the onboard sound is great.
- Looks neat.
- Ability to overclock painlessly.

Cons: - One of the USB 3.0 slots burned out within 2 months.
- Gives '99' and '9C' errors on boot every time. This is due to a usb connection (can't remember which- either a MyBook, the CM Storm mouse, or the AMZN keyboard). No firmware/software upgrade for either the board or the device have fixed it, and searching for solutions has proven fruitless. My other MSI board had the same issue on a different computer with a usb wireless card. Still boots, but takes about 8 seconds longer than necessary.

Other Thoughts: - I probably wouldn't buy this board again, and I'm now highly unlikely to purchase MSI boards going forward. I can't afford to be without the computer for the length of time a replacement would take, and I'm not sure one would be that much better.
- Rebate process was actually really smooth. I had never had much success with MIRs in the past, but this one was quick and painless.

Pros: Fit perfectly, no design flaws, order was received very quickly, looks really cool, great bios interface, amazing variety of settings from older component settings to new, no compatibility problems at all and over clocking works smoothly, expansion options are nice

Cons: memory only supports up to 32g but this is only a minor con, given the video memory in the graphics card and high cpu, the maxed out ram doesnt even come close to using half that.

Other Thoughts: i highly recommend this board!

-Have had 0 problems with this board

Cons: The only problem with this board is the slightly annoying position of the CPU power location. It is very close to heat fins on the side, so it can be a little annoying to unplug.

Other Thoughts: It's a great board, slightly annoying if you need to switch out psu's or move cables, but I'd easily recommend this board to anyone who would ask.

Pros: booted up first try, bios is easy to navigate and understand, price is great for a budget build. So far I havent had any issues and it been working great.

Cons: the heatsinks for the vm could be a little better they tend to get warm, but i have enough fans in the right place for push and pull to negate that fact, but it could be an issue for some that dont have proper cooling.

Other Thoughts: I have not test the audio boost 2 thing it advertises because i use a very nice sound card. I will say that the instruction manual for this mobo is not very good at all imo. It doesn't explain alot and what is does explain is very much. most of it has a QR code that links you to their YouTube page that does a video on it. That's all in well, but to me its still no excuse for that poor excuse for a manual. This is my first MSI product ever, so far so good, well see how it holds up. Right now its looking good and I would recommend it . I bought this on 12/4/2015, still going strong.

+User manual has very clear diagrams and easy-to-follow steps

Cons: -SATA port layout is inconvenient if you have a large video card
-Comes with only two SATA cables
-There is a connector to attach all of the front panel pins cleanly, but it is not sold with the board
-Limited Win 10 x64 support

Other Thoughts: This is my first AMD board, and so far I'm pretty pleased with it. I was able to connect a Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 cooler to the CPU, partly thanks to having a Rosewill THOR case with sufficient room, but I did accidentally get a drop of thermal paste in one of the DDR slots. I believe I've managed to remove all of it, but if something goes wrong, I'll know the cause.
I started the computer on Win 7 x64 and threw the corresponding drivers on before going up to Win 10. So far, it works, but MSI needs to create chipset drivers for the new OS, as not everyone will have access to older Windows versions when building a computer with this board.
I was surprised the front I/O panel connectors had to be plugged directly into the board, as the connector mentioned in the manual is apparently optional (meaning it isn't supplied with the board). I knocked off an egg for this and the fact that the board only comes with two SATA cables. For a gaming board, it seems odd that they didn't anticipate someone needing more SATA connections.

Pros: OC genie works great for easy overclocking.
easier to install than a rich person to get with Marilyn Monroe.
lots of USB ports.
Installation disk comes with a lot of tools and stuff.
has a red light on it.
Shield on it looks sexy.

Cons: couldn't figure out how the back plate went on.
