4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Paired with an Athlon 64 X2 2.2hgz, 2GB Ram and Radeon HD 2600XT this mobo flies! No issues during installation.

Cons: Does not have two PCI-E slots. The first PCI slot shouldn't be used due to the lack of space between the PCI card and most PCIE video card heatsink/fan's.

Other Thoughts: For the price this is an excellent buy but future expandability may be limited due to lack of SLI/Crossfire support. When installing XP & SP1 you will need Microsoft's .NET framework patch installed for the LAN to work.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good while it worked.

Cons: Onboard Video died after 2 months of operation. Also, I kept getting delayed write error when I had configured this in RAID-1, this was with updated drivers and all. Eventually had to buy a dedicated hardware RAID.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Low / Mid Range Mobo

Pros: A very easy to install Mobo with moderate room for expansion with PCI and PCI Express. The SATA interfaces are great and located in good place on the board. In a very short time after receiving the board I had the computer up and running. Easy to Follow instructions

Cons: Integrated Video is not that great. I set the internal video for 256 MB and it still will not play Civ 4. Afraid to try it with other games. The Parallel port in the back of the board is very flimsy feeling (Not that it matters since I have not used Parallel in a number of years)

Other Thoughts: An excellent board for a PC which you are going to do some basic computing tasks on. With higher end / Gaming tasks I would get a PCI Express Video Card and use that instead of the internal Card

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Desktop Board

Pros: I've built 4 systems based on this board - starting the 5th tomorrow. Use a 4800+ 65 nm X2 chip and you'll have a super quiet mchine that has great performance.

If you're buying it to use in a gaming machine though, you'll need to add a high end video card as the on board 6150 video was never meant to handle complex video games at fast frame rates.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but has it's problem

Pros: Very easy to update with it's built in utilities, good price for what your getting. I'd recomend this for any budget build up to a mid range gaming rig.

Cons: locations of screw holes make it very flimsy. Not the best for overclocking

Other Thoughts: The board didn't work at first and when I called ASUS the said they were too busy and they would call me back and never did, but I figured it out my self eventually.

5 out of 5 eggsASUS never disapoints

Pros: installed MB, plugged in and turned on, no problems.

Cons: 2 of the USB connectors are kind of close to the monitor connector, makes it hard to use those 2 USB ports and use onboard video.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for price, but confusing

Pros: The Bios is really easy to use, and the opening screen is super awesome. it was really easy to put together.

Cons: I just finished putting all my components together on my computer and it wouldnt hook up to the tv. i had to take out the video card for it to work, after windows installed it worked tho. weird. the ram was really hard to put in.

Other Thoughts: This is great for its price, im happy i bought this.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Works well but the VIA chipset is hardly a performer. I prefer Nvidia or AMD chipsets. Out of 50 I used in system builds I had 2 DOA

Cons: VIA

Other Thoughts: VIA is a good low budget chipset and I will continue to use them for jobs where every dollar counts however when I can get an Asus with an AMD or Nvidia chipst for the same price I will always go with them instead of a VIA
