Pros: Reasonably priced, 2 CPU support, 24 gig ram, does work with 54xx series.
Cons: The ram runs at a blistering temp. I had a lot of oddball issues trying to set it up and read about the ram comment. Touch the ram and it'll burn your fingers.
I ordered the ram cooler after just setting small fan ontop of the 2 DIMMS I had installed and in 2 minutes they were cool to the touch.
Other Thoughts: LSI raid gave fits, just went with the Intel or if your serious about it get a real RAID card.

Pros: I got the open box version as I wanted to be sure the BIOS was v9 and it paid off. Both my e5410's were detected without issue.
Cons: My fault, but I had a SLBBC and a SLANW e5410, they install and post OC, but you can't install VMWare or Server 2008 with both of them installed due to stepping issues. Running like a champ on 1 CPU, no eggs off for this as it's my fault for trying to save money on CPU's and using the most popular online used parts vendor...... ibay or something similar ;)
Other Thoughts: 12GB RAM works flawlessly. Get the optional RAM cooler, my RAM is way to hot and I am ordering one. After a few hours of operation I see RAM errors due to heat.

Pros: Two E5410, 8GB FB RAM, 1.5TB RAID 1 mirror. Just plugged in everything and had no problems from day one. Worked out of the box. BIOS was from Dec 2008 and recognized the CPUs w/o any trouble.
Cons: Not found
Other Thoughts: Price could be more attractive.
