solid board

Pros: Very stable board. Running solid for the last couple months on my TV. LinuxMCE and Ubuntu Linux fully supports all features. No NIC problems that are so common with embedded gigabit chipsets. NVidia 7000 series is well supported and performs admirably under Linux and in media viewing applications.

Cons: Wish it had PCI-X 2.0 for the future upgrades, this will probably be the reason this board is upgraded/replaced sometime in the future.

Other Thoughts: I would say that the 7000 series card is a little underpowered for many of the games coming on the market, however this hasn't effected it's performance in my application.

Good low cost board

Pros: I purchased 10 of these boards shortly after they were released by Asus. I have had no problem with any of them. The lan port works fine at 1g. These are used in a business and they would let me know right away if they were having any problems.

Cons: First couple of bios were a little shakey but the problems have been fixed.

Other Thoughts: 2GB memory. Athlon 64 X2 5000+. SATA2 harddrive. Using onboard video.

Pros: It's a motherboard with a sweet onboard video chip for the price?

Cons: The LAN does not work and I had to restart the system several times before I could get the motherboard to boot.

Other Thoughts: Well it is nice when you can find a m-ATX mobo for a reasonable price and it has a pretty nice onboard video chipset, however I expect more from a company as reputable as ASUS. These boards are still being manufactured and everyone is still buying them and the problem still remains. I would hope that they would fix the problem by now but oh wells.
