Worth every penny.
- Pros: Bought it to replace my cheap foxconn motherboard, and couldn't be happier.
- Cons: Could use a few more USB ports.
- Other Thoughts: 6 SATA ports makes this board ideal for anybody with multiple optical/hard drives.
Good stable board
- Pros: I have 5 of these boards in computers at work. All drivers including the network card works great with Windows Vista and 7. Having so many feature packed on to such a small board is awesome.
- Cons: None.

BAD after a year
- Pros: Worked Okay for the first year. Had some trouble but nothing too major.
- Cons: Okay, this is an issue i really hate.
Bought 1/30/08.
ISSUE #1, computer hanging. It turns out this mobo is picky about PSU's. After buying a Roswell PSU, it turned out to be incompatible. Bought a Corsair PSU and it solved the problem. ASUS PLEASE LIST COMPATIBILITY ISSUES WITH PSU's. It took them 3 months to finally tell me that the PSU was causing the problem(probably made them compatible with an updated BIOS, I don't know nor do I care).
ISSUE #2: 1 and a half years of barely any use since this is my father's computer, it will not POST, no video(onboard or pci-e), no audio(onboard), fans keep spinning. CPU is fine, PCI-e videocard is fine, PSU is fine, HDD is fine. Problem is the Motherboard.
Issue #3, at the time i bought it, it costed me 115 dollars for a problematic motherboard that ASUS tech support told me it was my drivers/parts fault, which said were incompatible. HOWEVER, they never mentioned any hardware incompatibilities!
- Other Thoughts: I'm sick and tired. I had an asus Mobo that lasted me 6yrs with good old P4HT through my high school and first years of college. In 2008, i bought this mobo and decided to make a nice gift for my dad's 65th birthday and what do you know?
I shouldve listened to the overwhelming bad reviews as to NOT get this mobo but i trusted ASUS. Now that it's out of warranty, i just have a $115 brick sitting in my father's computer room.
