Pretty darn good stuff...
- Pros: Definitley a great starter kit btw, runs like h*ll. Bang for the buck? This is a case of free money.
- Cons: Had to go for a bios update. Yawn...
- Other Thoughts: They all turn out to be great bargains. If one wants a cheap, hi-speed, home/surfing machine;this is a great starter.
Not bad at all...
- Pros: Cheap n Dirty hi-powered little mobo. Have bought 20 of these little guys from newegg and they performed right out of the box. Good starter product. In over a year I've had no problems w/all 20 mobos.
- Cons: No cons here
- Other Thoughts: Thanx for keeping this mobo available.
First build with this motherboard
- Pros: The PC I put together is my first build and I used this motherboard. I didn't wanna spend too much on my first build so this was the right price for me. It takes 4GB of memory despite what the manual it comes with says(manual says 2GB). I have an Intel E5200 inside of it. From my understanding, the board needs a BIOS revision of 0410 and that was the BIOS revision it had when I received it so no problems. The audio driver is pretty neat. You can change the way music sounds when your playing it as if your in a stone corridor, concert hall, auditorium, etc. This motherboard is a good board for first time builders. I managed to get a nice gaming PC out of it. It runs what I like to play such as Half Life 2, but I have an Asus EN9500GT TOP/DI/512M that I recently purchase that works smoothly. I have 4GB of RAM on the board, but my XP system can only use a little more than 3GB. So with that much RAM and the earlier mentioned ,well priced graphics card, I got a nice system.
- Cons: There have been no problems with my new PC build with this board in it.
