Do not buy this board
- Pros: You get a sound card and Company of heroes with it. You get to spend a lot of money shipping the DOA ones back to ASUS, which in turn helps to stimulate the economy!!
- Cons: This board flat out sucks, after 1 month of ownership, the RMA fairy showed up and took it to ASUS...board ran fine for 7 months, and now dead again...NO POST!!! Sent back to ASUS to get a refurb and board was DOA..THANKS ASUS for wasting my time!! sent back again to get a board that sparked and burnt at optional fan 1 connection--even though nothing was plugged in to it. So ASUS is making me spend more money shipping back and forth--so I just bought a (competing brand motherboard) today and will use the expectant refurb DOA board I get back from ASUS as a GD paperweight--you owe me ASUS for all the shipping charges--I will never buy from you again!!
- Other Thoughts: ASUS should not even build paper airplanes.
They made me select at least one egg.

Response to JB and more mb drama
- Pros: When the board runs, its unbeatable for ease of over clocking features, etc.
- Cons: Like I said JB, I'm rated very high technically, and do know what I'm doing. Including unplugging, or powercycling equipment, as it's called.
I RMA'd the board and ASUS notified me that it was indeed unfixable, MR. I dont know what im doing, try power cycling, JB. The replacement they sent was also fried. The 3rd board they sent was refurbished, looked abused (to me), and ran 3 hrs before none of the board's voltimiter lights turned on. Yes, the nightmare continues. Will be calling ASUS to do another RMA.
- Other Thoughts: I want my board to run.
Excellent
- Pros: Excellent board, lots of features, comes with lots of cables, fans, etc., that you might need.
- Cons: Plugging in USB printer seems to have fried it (kernel comes up most of the way and throws error for the root hub)
- Other Thoughts: I build a new box every few years, and have been using Asus for many years now. I always get good value for my dollar.
