Pros: Would have nice features for the money if it worked. Newegg customer service is excellent! They went out of their way to correct this situation. It is nice to deal with a company that appreciates the customer and takes care of them.

Cons: Bad motherboard. Constantly locked up on default settings with no software loaded. Reaching Asus customer support on the phone proved to be more effort than it is worth. Thanks again to Newegg for providing excellent customer service.

Other Thoughts: Replaced with a Asus Rampage Formula. It was stable from the start. No problems with it at all.

Pros: great package all i got was the mobo - i bought the open box and only got the mobo!

Cons: pay more for the bundle open box but you only get the mobo! same thing for more money!

Other Thoughts: buy the unopenbox

Pros: Board packaging looks nice.

Cons: Board arrived and wouldn't post. I have no idea if it were a pcie 1.1/2.0 incompatibility (this board is not backward compatible w/ pcie 1.1) or ram incompatibility (others on the 'net posted that various types of ram don't work w/ it) or that the board was just doa, any way you slice it the board didn't work for me spent 3 days futzing with it. Bought a gigabyte ep45 extreme from new egg and it worked first shot at the power button.

Other Thoughts: New egg handled the rma process very quickly, I have a working computer again .. Thanks new egg!!

BTW this board was purchased to replace a maximus formula se. Funny thing now I have 2 Gigabyte boards and both were due to returns of Asus stuff for some reason or another.
