5 out of 5 eggsAsus does it again

Pros: Amazing layout. board runs extremely cool, plenty of space for HUGE video cards. All benchmarks have this board with full load under triple SLI and quad core CPU, running at a mere 121 F, with only the heatsink that came with the CPU, and 2 120mm fans. If you are looking for AMD CPU and SLI nvidia. this board is the way to go, this board is far superior to the M4 series Asus mobo's in my professional opinion.
Certified Tech, 11 years

Cons: RAM slots are a bit close to CPU heatsink if you use an oversized heatsink, make sure you measure....

Other Thoughts: The manual, and the board specs state this board will not hold a Phenom 2 x4 CPU. this is not true..... install a quad core AM2+ CPU and flash the bios thru express gate without installing an OS. and your motherboard will recognize and use the CPU.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Board- Bad company

Pros: Excellent board with lots of goodies, love how it supports my old 5600+ and my new phenom. HDMI output is great for watching movies on my big screen. Overclocking can be done by guru's and even beginners.

Cons: Windows 7. Good Luck getting everything to work out of the box with Windows 7. NO DOWNLOADS for win7..even though there is a blue "Windows 7" sticker on the outside of my box and in the asus website they had the option for win7 downloads (nothing was in the downloads under win7) for a month but now it has been removed, so now i have to crawl through the internet looking for the right drivers and software. Pretty sure im NOT buying asus again no matter how good the board is, thats the good thing about competing companies.

Other Thoughts: Excellent board but useless support means no more buisness from me and plenty of others.

1 out of 5 eggsAHCI mode and USB boot doesn't work

Pros: HDMI, Optical and Digital audio output

Cons: Bad technical support (510)739-3777. Hang up on me a few times while I have to wait for more than half hours. Leave phone number for technican call back but no return call. BIOS doesn't recorgnize SATA CDROM and SATA hard-disk if SATA configuration sets to AHCI and if set to IDE(default) then speed drop down to 1.5Gb. It doesn't work as specification.

Other Thoughts: Asus need to have a big improvement in technical support. Before buying their product, let try to call technical support first, find out how they're doing? BIOS need quite a bit of improvement. Most of mother-board can be boot from USB flash but M3N-HT need to boot from floppy.

5 out of 5 eggsget-a-clue review is right

Pros: tri-sli,price, amd3 ready, tons of bios options, can still use ddr2 ram major difference from 750a, solid feel to the broad, more space between ram slots way cheaper than the 980a and not much different in style and function

Cons: had to redo case wiring, back to have a mess because i now need extend both mobo power wires, to be able to hide them away, disk with drivers wont play on windows7, slower boot-up, gets stuck alittle at the bios option screen during a cold start, the need to update bios as soon as you get it

Other Thoughts: get a clue is what the man said, and hes right. i slapped everything together and it wouldnt boot! this mobo doesnt like to be pushed that way. you have to handle her like a lady. by removing 2 ram sticks, and both my gtx260s, and hooking up to the onbroad hdmi was i able to get it to boot, didnt have to reinstall os but i did anyways. it is a very touchy broad. one g-card at atime then the other 2 ram sticks/ now im up and running with both xp and 7 both 64-bit. my 9950be is oced to 3.0 and set to auto in voltage, compared to my 750a where my voltage was set to 1.35 to run stable. not a beginners broad ,but if you take your time, youll get it up and running, i also thought i had a bad mobo, but i was happy to be wrong. all because i a read a review and got a clue

4 out of 5 eggsGet something better

Pros: SLI. Supports AM2/AM2+/AM3 processors. Great performance.

Cons: Doesn't support ddr3 memory. DDR2 is almost as expensive as DDR3 so there's no savings anymore.

Other Thoughts: I only bought this board because I had a socket AM2+ cpu lying around that I wanted to use. If you have the money, buy a socket AM3 board with DDR3 memory so it's more upgradable in the future. Besides that, there's nothing wrong with this board, it's a champ.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Fast can work with am3 stuff like the 955 and still can use my "old" ddr2 ram. It weighs a ton the heatsink on this thing is giant there wa some serious work that went into it. Have had no problems oc this thing updating the bios was easiest ive ever done. I like the express gate thing cause im either in game mode or putz around do nothing mode. 3 sli is crazy for the price. 3 3 pin fan connectors so i can monitor fan speed.

Cons: It does run a little warm i did got a small fan for the nb but thats about it. The first one i got came dead maybe me maybe not idk second one has worked like a charm through many a stress tests.

Other Thoughts: phenom 955 oc 4.2 bios version 2904 very important
sunbeam core contact 120mm no issues covering nb but ram with big heatsink on it wont fit under for slot 1
6 gb gskill 800
2 tb hd i dont use raid
PNY gtx 260 core 216 and 9600 physics card just cause

5 out of 5 eggsAn Excellent Value

Pros: Solid construction, nice layout. Plenty of extras in the box.

Cons: On-board audio software package isn't compatible with Win 7, so I'm using a 'no-frills' SoundMax driver and software package from Analog Devices (it's their audio processor on the MOBO).

Other Thoughts: I needed AM2+ and some OC capability at a reasonable price. This board delivers. Love the EZ Flash BIOS update utility. I've been buying ASUS for years and will continue to do so as long as they continue to deliver quality like this at a reasonable price.
